Joel for me, you can see with every game he is getting confident and it's great having a keeper that commands the area!! Stays big in 1v1 situations as well.

Milner wants a CM position so I don't think he would be happy here. Perhaps if we could offload Gibbo and get Milner in but I doubt that. We need to keep Kev, I still believe he had Baines permission to take the pen, and that he was doing it to act a senior player and get involved in pulling us out of the shit... I haven't really gotten involved in the McCarthy debate of late. I think we've missed him definitely, he's a work horse we all know but he needs to be paired with a ball player of which Barry has not been this season. In my opinion he won't dominate a game in midfield by himself as he isn't strong enough on the ball but breaks up play better then anyone else we have, I'm hoping Besic will be or will grow to be as he has a greater range of passing ( again IMO ).

I think his value is related to his contract situation more so then ability, although I couldn't imagine us selling Mirallas for 2m so I can understand your concerns!!

It's just out season isn't over, we could go on a run in Europa and in the league, we might come up against a strong team and put in performance like we did against city and get the result or we could go dog balls and get pumped! But until there's no possibility of success what so ever I'm remaining positive as it's the least I believe I can do as supporter...

Eto rarely played as a striker, so I'm happy if money went to another winger. We have Rom/Kone and then Naismith/Mirallas can do a fill in job if need be.

There's still something to play for this season! Europa and push for top 10. Given it's Robertos first season dealing with Europe I would settle for say 8th and a very solid run through Europe. I still maintain that a solid run of results will push us up the table.

Wouldn't want him anymore after his last display at Goodison. And I say that heavily as he was a favourite of mine..
