I would be happy if we gave 5m + Distin. Reid as 3rd choice CB for a year and push jags and eventually replace him. Would be surprised if it happens though..

Yeh just saw that, appreciate all Distin has done, but Reid is definitely an upgrade on Distin so I would be happy with that, just depends how much cash we have to part with and if West Ham are really happy to lose a 26yr old for a 37 year old..

I did hear yesterday, and I'm not normally one to post what I hear off a mate ect ect, but the whole penalty debacle - apparently Kev had a shirt underneath with a tribute to the young Belgian boy Junior Malanda and that's why he took the penalty. Again wrong it may be as their is an order, but I did not ever believe it was him putting himself in the shop window regardless the truth to this or not.

I don't think we were great, but it was good to see a solid defensive display... Big win against Liverpool and gap reduces down to 9. Still believe top 8 is reachable if we go on a solid run of results now

Joel for me, you can see with every game he is getting confident and it's great having a keeper that commands the area!! Stays big in 1v1 situations as well.

Milner wants a CM position so I don't think he would be happy here. Perhaps if we could offload Gibbo and get Milner in but I doubt that. We need to keep Kev, I still believe he had Baines permission to take the pen, and that he was doing it to act a senior player and get involved in pulling us out of the shit... I'm judging him on he reacts, he made a mistake, he would know it, let's see if he performs now!

I haven't really gotten involved in the McCarthy debate of late. I think we've missed him definitely, he's a work horse we all know but he needs to be paired with a ball player of which Barry has not been this season. In my opinion he won't dominate a game in midfield by himself as he isn't strong enough on the ball but breaks up play better then anyone else we have, I'm hoping Besic will be or will grow to be as he has a greater range of passing ( again IMO ).

I think his value is related to his contract situation more so then ability, although I couldn't imagine us selling Mirallas for 2m so I can understand your concerns!!

I wasn't attacking you earlier by saying to stay positive.. I too acknowledge were in all sorts, and I too am frustrated with you. It's just out season isn't over, we could go on a run in Europa and in the league, we might come up against a strong team and put in performance like we did against city and get the result or we could go dog balls and get pumped! But until there's no possibility of success what so ever I'm remaining positive as it's the least I believe I can do as supporter...
