This current situation is so typical for us. After the jubilation of the summer spending, I actually believed that we might be able to challenge the top 6, or at least have a decent cup run.
Can't believe I was so naive to get my hopes up and think that we might do something positive this year.

It won't help. We threw money at Koeman, we threw money at Sigurdsson. You need players that want to be at the club, that are proud to wear the shirt.
We need players with fire in their bellies not pound signs in their eyes.
Don't think there are many of these players about in the game anymore.

Voted for Beni. Lookman had a good game also.

Wow. I can’t take anything good from that game.
Utter shite other than some nice glimpses from Beni and Lookman.

I'm sick of taking shit from my redshite mates when we're playing. The pricks all come out of the woodwork.

I can't take much more of this shit. I'm raging!

Coleman, but he's injured.
We miss him badly. Hope he returns the same player before the injury.

We are shite. Final nail in the coffin for Unsworth with this result.

I really hope that Sigurdsson comes good. At the moment it looks like Swansea has made the deal of the century.
-
That's the price you pay when you don't don't take your chances in front of goal.

Pickford made it easy for him there.

I'm not sure why Dyche is considered to have a good record and what the fuss is about. He got them to the Prem, then got relegated. Got them back up last season and narrowly survived finishing 16th.
I genuinely believe that the only reason he is getting mentioned, is down to the good start that Burnley have made this season. If Burnley were in the bottom 3, he would not be getting considered in my opinion.

In the squad for Thursday. Good luck to the lad if he gets on.

Another mediocre ginge. Just go and get Brendon. With the money he will get us immediate success. He got Swansea into the PL, when everyone failed. He then was one game away from winning a team that has waited over 20 years for a title.
He is now dominating a league.
Get him in.
Would prefer Rafa, but would definitely have Rodgers before Dyche.

Wouldn't surprise me if, like with transfer speculation, this is the bookies and media playing in tandem.
This morning, Sky Sports run a story with no source that we will approach Dyche. People flock to place bets. I wonder how much Sky Bet make from that? The papers run the story...how much do betting firms spend advertising in the papers?
Give it a week and they'll run with another name. Rinse. Repeat.
Hope so. Sean Dyche just doesn't feel right for our club.
-
Please not Sean Dyche!! The bookies now have him as a clear favourite
Once Koeman was sacked, Sean Dyche as a replacement didn't even cross my mind at all. Seems to have found his comfort level with Burnley and I don't think he will take us anywhere.
Prior to him being linked, how many on here genuinely thought of him as a potential suitable replacement?

'WATCH: Kenny's calamitous 'own goal''
http://www.skysports.com/share/11105104
Shower of bastards at Sky Sports. Love kicking us while we're down.
Young English player makes a mistake and they're all over it trying to embarrass the lad. No need for this 'story' at all. Things like this could seriously damage his confidence.

'Barton slur not affecting Unsworth'

This is the problem. Sky promoting the story and giving the rat the attention he craves. He doesn't deserve to be part of the game in any capacity.

What is Barton's beef with Unsworth? And why is anyone paying this tool to be a pundit when he's on a ban?
Absolutely no need to make it personal. The guy is vermin and is trying his best to be controversial to stay in the public eye.

I'm absolutely dreading this game. I can see us getting a seriously embarrassing beating.
