  1. If the club announce Unsworth now, it will be an embarrassment and show a complete failure to attract any manager with a half decent CV. That's no disrespect to Unsworth, he's young in his career. It's just that if he was the man for the job, then why wouldn't he have been appointed by now? And why are we making approaches for others?

Edit: It will also show the world we have a clear divide in the board, which is also embarrassing.

  2. Silva will be conscious that his stock is currently at the highest it's been. Staying at Watford could be a risk if they do not continue to perform well and start to drop down the league. Football management can be brutal if the results are not good. It can take a huge amount of time for a manager to rebuild his reputation and get an opportunity to progress. This may be his only chance to move to a big club.

Similar to Dyche, if Watford were in the bottom three right now, would he be looked upon in the same light?

Who would have thought that Niasse could make such a positive impact!!

Although he's not the best, his attitude, desire and commitment gives the fans a lift. I'm truly made up for the lad.

Unbelievable now to think I was disappointed he didn't go to Palace on deadline day. I genuinely thought at the time he was stealing a living from us. I guess it was fate he would play for us and prove his doubters wrong.

I thought he had an absolute nightmare, John joe Kenny for me, especially his first half performance

Everyone sitting around me all agreed that Davies did not have his best game today and was quite critical of his performance. Seem to miss time his tackles and his passing wasn't great. We were expecting him to be substituted after Rooney. He did improve once Lookman came on and gave him a wide option.

  5. The fact that we are only being linked to shite, we might aswell give Unsworth more time. The second half performance was much better today, with positive changes made. Dyche or Allardyce would be a panic appointment in my opinion and is not we need right now. Can't see them attracting any decent players and I don't think they will take us forward in the future.

Hopefully an established manager with some prestige becomes available, IF Unsworth doesn't produce some consistent results.
