  1. I'll go for that Chicago lad.................COYB................"Its a grand old team to play for.........."
  2. Songs to be Arrested by tomorrow, 1. We Shall Not Be Moved, the Police will deem this as some sort of radical protest, similar to those anti- whatever marches and attempt to disband the ringleaders. 2. Its A Grand Old Team To Play For, the Police will imply that Everton do not have a history and therefore are attempting to distort the truth and will be arrested. 3. Where's your famous Kop, the Police will liken this as to a racist chant as Evertonians imply that the Kop is now infiltrated with supporters not from Merseyside. 4. Everton, Everton FC, They're By Far........., the Police will use this as extorting the truth and further implying that Liverpool are not the greatest team the world has ever seen, thus the perpetrators will be dealt with. 5. Red and White Shite, will also be deemed as a racist chant to, well er........all things Red and White. So if you have ticket for tomorrow, don't forget to keep your mouth shut and count how many witty ditties they sing about us and see how many of them get arrested or thrown out, me bitter, nope just twisted.
  3. If you was to put, say £50 on the Shite to beat us tomorrow, does that make you a Judas or does that put you in a win win situation. Would you be prepared to lose fifty quid, knowing that we did'nt get beat but prepared to take the winnings as a comforter if we did lose.
  4. Can't believe no-one has picked up on Carraghers confession, on Sky after the Man Utd/ Chelsea game when he openly said, before looking rather sheepish, that the top teams usually do get the rub of the green off the refs and the big decisions go their way. So now we can all sleep sound in the knowledge, that our thoughts where right and they are cheating bastards.
  5. FAO of Holystove. If you read my comments closely and understand them you will realise it was not me saying Fellaini is the best Belgian for decades, I was commenting on Belgian football fans I met in Liege and I think they are more qualified to comment on Belgian football than I ever will be. However as usual, football is all about opinions and mine is how can Fellaini and Kompany be mentioned in the same breath.
  6. I think admin need to take a close look at some them jokes. I like a good joke like anyone else and although professionally I am very pc I understand the reality of non pc jokes and their standing in society but them baby jokes are just fucking sick, Can't they be deleted.
  7. Like most folk, I was surprised when I awoke on the morning after deadline day to see we had paid £15 million for Fellaini. However after just watched him in two games against Liverpool(I honestly thought he was man of the match in both games) I thought this may have been a bit of shrewd business. This was backed up when we visited Liege for the return tie, where most Belgian observers, Liege and other supporters, reckoned he was the best player to come out of Belgium for decades, granted there are not that many, but that is irrelevant. the big lad has taken his time to settle to an alien country but I see him gradually turning things around and in the past month, well since that debacle at Wigan, he has been the top performer. Lets hope that continues and he gives another two man of the match performances against Liverpool but this time with the right results.

    Hull

Although this won't be the walk in the park as recent form may suggest, I still think we will be to strong for a team that has taken over our mantle for the season and "over achieved" and that is said without any malice towards Hull. Although this may be a tough encounter, I predict we will return to the pre-Macc. team and run out 2-0 winners.
  10. Upper Gwladys, £515, bought pre June (early bird) for £485 and another £10 off for purchasing online
  11. If the games played on the Friday, isn't that the day Stevie G laaaaarrrrrrrrrrr goes to court. Now i wonder if the case will be put back due to mitigating circumstances. Me, Bitter, nope just realistic.
  12. 1-0 or 10-0, you only get into the next round. Yes i know we all want to play superb football but that isn't going to happen every time (or ever, before the synics get in). Yesterday was about getting through to the next round, just look at teams getting through the champions league group stages, sometimes winning ugly or being negative works a treat, and i am not saying we where yesterday by the way. Apart from the initial flurry and a saved attempt in the last minute, it was as comfortable as can be. No yellows collected and no apparant injuries, apart from Anichebe's obligatory fall to the floor and treatment. On an individual player note, Arteta bossed the game and got stuck in as did Neville, Baines attacked well at times but could be quicker in decision making, Hibbert was also afforded tons of space, especially in the second half but for some reason tended to run straight to the byline when on numerous occasion he could have raced into the box, Osman and Pienaar where industrious without being spectacular and Howard did his job sound, whilst the rest had pretty average, normal games. All in all a professional job well done but we know the media will look for the alternative hard luck story on behalf of Macclesfield.
  13. Sitting in that wonderful expansive stands yesterday, i got a great view of the nuances of left wing attacking play and whilst Baines had a decent game attacking wise it could have been better. The amount of times he actually got the ball, in acres of space, but dallied so long completely frustrated me. But at least he was having a go. However for me Arteta was man of the match, completely bossed the game and got stuck in to, now he's cup-tied that may put Arsene off, but City may sniff around. On another note, i thought Jagielka and Lescott had off games but geting through to the next round is the main thing.
  14. Thanks for the tips, so i'll be sooooooooooo crazy and go for B6
  15. Sure that wasn't you tripping him up there 12thman. Sabotage, totally uncalled for.
  16. I've always been a fan of Hibbert. His main job is defending which i think he does well, a defender who can attack is an added bonus. If he improves that part of his game then thats great for us.
  17. Im hopeful for a comfortable 3-0 to the Blues but take nothing for granted. Any news on the game getting the go ahead?
  18. 12thMan, any info on pubs near to the ground, no fancy dan wine bars, just an old fashioned boozer with real ale for me.
  19. I totally agree with Carlmc 25. People are easily persuaded to join the large rolling bandwagons, especially when it comes to agreeing with dissenters. I admit that I openly criticised the performance at Wigan and certain individual performances but believe me after witnessing what i saw that night i feel i had every right to. I also questioned the input of Steve Round, however i also argued that once the team spirit returned and that tactics where sorted(with Rounds involvement) and as well as the bedding down of new players that things would improve. This has been evident in the past 6 games or so and long may that continue. Anyway lets get behind the lads, staring on saturday and continue that on the push for a great season, see you all on Saturday.
  20. Jeeeeeeeeeeesuzzzzzzzz, forget anything else that has gone before hand. This is a comfortable 3-0 as you will ever see
  21. Am i losing the plot, i missed the answer for the kids game spot the ball, then totally missed the next one with the answer showing, even though i checked daily, so for this one ( the team in the red v the green and white stripes), im on D2, with no scanning or attempts at cheating.
  22. Macc Lad, what's the parking like around the ground and more specifically the drinking establishments and the pies.
  23. I started a thread, about 3 or 4 days ago with a similar content but hardly any responses. Maybe it takes us to play crap before people want to get their points across, strange, very strange.
  24. As the eternal optimist, im looking at 12 points, 10 would be a great return. Am I asking too much.
