  1. Lets ave it! Top ten worst players you have seen in the prem this year: 1. Xisco - Newcastle 2.Lucas - Shite 3.Nolan - Newcastle 4.Gomes - Tottenham 5. Modric - Spurs ( not cut out for premier league) 6. Dos Santos - Spurs 7.Alves - Boro 8. Mido - Wigan/Boro 9. Malouda- Chelsea 10.Gary Neville- Mancs ( finished )
  2. If we could get Manny back for around 7 mill that would be an absolute bargain imagine a midfield of Arteta, Moutinihio and Manny?
  3. I seem to be missing something here Man city have just paid 14 million for a 29 year old injury prone tosspot who has had more clubs than Nicklaus and they only are offering 25 million for two of our best players? Arteta has at least three years left on his contract and is hitting his prime years ditto for Lescott. I would have thought Arteta bearing in mind City will be paying over the odds for a good few years would be in the region of 18-20 million and Lescott about 12-15 million?? Every player has a price and if Moysie thought it was a goer im sure he will do business. Personally I wouldnt sell either i think we are only 3 players away from securing top four place regulary with our squad.
  4. Just watched Sentanta and a program called football matters Aidy Boothroyd said we would finish fourth. Its a bit abstract but i think we can.
  5. Is that the Cardiff lad? thought he was a striker. Just thought would like Lallanna at Saints, Ledley at Cardiff and the young lad at Leeds Fabian Delph he looks shit hot. I'm still gutted we didn't buy Ramsey last summer.
  6. Obviously we haven't got loads of dough but we usually buy one expensive player and Davey does his loan/bargains. I would go for any of these, Love, Huddlestone, Daniel Fox ( I know we got rid of him), Darren Fletcher, Sun Ji Park and maybe Moutinihio but i cant see it.
  7. I can't see anything but a win I just hope we are not too conservative. I think if we had been a bit more positive against Newcastle and Blackburn we would be level with Villa and Arsenal. If we go for it I can see 0-2 Baines and Timmy.
  8. Wouldn't touch Duff with a barge pole. Martins definately though. I'd probably only take these from teams in trouble: Tuncay and Wheater.
  9. If we get an early goal i think we will quite comfortably however if its still 0-0 at half time i think we will sneak it with a Louis special.
  10. We were awful as we have been for the last three games to be honest and its not a coincedence since Mickey has been out. I think its a few things to be honest. The defence hasnt been a problem but saying that the last three teams had about potency as us up front which says a lot. Jagielka is not a right back and needs to go back at centre half. I would put Neville right back because he is a lot more comfortable on the ball in those tight areas where you need to keep possesion and start attacks. In midfield we have no creativity and thus have created nothing apart from set pieces. Our passing has been atrocious and we have given Jo nothing to feed off. Saying that his peformances over the last three games has been shocking. His work rate hasn't been anywhere near what we expect and his first touch is awful. If Felliani can last 70 mins I would go back to playing Timmy up top with him just behind him if Saha is not ready to start. I think the squad is really tired at the minute and could do with a rest i think alot of them are playing with knocks
  11. Pioneer for me or Baines but seen as he can't even get a go at a free kick I reckon it will be Peanuts. Can anybody tell me why Jagielka is taking the long range free kicks? Ive not seen him beat the wall yet! Give em to Leighton will you!
  12. I don't want him to but i think Davey will put Jags at right back and keep Neville in the midfield. If it was me i'd play Neville at right back or put Joey Yobo there because The Jag is not very comfortable with the ball in those positions where you have to keep possession in tight areas. I think he will keep Saha as a sub till the second half. My team: 1.Howard 2. Yobo 4. Jagielka 5. Lescott 3. Baines 6.Neville 7.Osman 11.Pioneer 8. Felliani 10. Cahill 9.Jo
  13. These are usually rubbish football matches but a MAJOR battle. Blackburn are playing for survival and I hope we don't have one eye on the cup match on sunday. If were not careful they could outfight us and nick a scrappy 1-0 as we havn't created much in the past two matches. Saying that though we have had one more days rest than Blackburn so that might help. I think we will have a little too much for them and i think 0-2 Lescott and Peanuts penalty.
  14. I dont think Moysie will keep Jo and i dont think he is convinced with the Yak probably because he's 38 years old! i think we might see a swap in the summer with Bent and Huddlestone coming this way.
  15. totally agree krankja is a very good player but i feel we need a player with real pace out wide. we have real tidy technical players but we need an outlet and a ball over the top.
  16. Peanuts is quality. He grafts and he never shys from the ball. Him and Baines are the reason why we rip teams to bits. Unless your talking stupid money its a definate no.
  17. I agree i think at the moment he looks a yard off the pace. His first touch is way off and i stilll think its a confidence thing. I think Moyes will ultimately get rid of the yak and Amichebe and Vaughan and buy Vagner Love who looks the real deal.
  18. I don't see what peoples problem is with Felliani. Granted, the reported 15 million fee is a trifle bewildering but i think you will find to reach the 15 million pounds valuation it means we have been very succesful. Alot of the fee is based on appearances and what we can achieve. Felliani is 21. He doesn't speak english and is coming to terms with the hardest and fastest league in the world. Give him 12 months and i assure you we will be fighting off the major european clubs who will want him. As for Adam Johnson, for a player who has been loaned out to championship sides and to not get a game at Boro i think would be a waste of time. We could all pick holes at players for want they dont do but you should focus on what they DO. Pioneer, Osman etc do have flaws but so what? What we are missing big time is real pace!!!
  19. Tough game but they are due to lose away and they have had alot of luck as of late. I dont think they are that good to be honest we should have done them in the league i reckon 2-0 Arteta and Cahill.

    Arsenal

depends on injuries but if we have our strongest team out i can't see us losing. 1-0 Lescott.
  21. I'd rather plat Brett Angell as he is now than buy this turd.
  22. I cant see Rafa risking it and playing a really poor side. I was made up they played Gerrard in the center of midfield on monday cos i reckon when they play Mascharano in the centre and Gerrard just behind Torres they look a far better side. If they play thay formation it will be a tougher game. There is 3 prem games next week so there is every chance they might rest their big guns and if they do i reckon 0-2
  23. After last nights peformance i am much more optimistic. I thought we were a match for them all over the park and see no reason why we cant do them. I'm gonna go mad and say 0-2. Big Vic and Arteta,
  24. I don't agree with you at all to be honest. Lescott, Jagielka and Cahill were BIG gambles considering the lack of money we have have and the fact that even if they are good in the championship it means nothing until you play in the premier league. Mancienne has been outstanding in the under 21's for England and went out on loan to Wolves and stood out that much he got called up in the full England squad. On the back of this he was immmediately recalled to Chelsea were he is now. I think that for four or five million he would represent a far lesser risk than going for somebody like Berra at hearts because Mancinne is playing against world class players in training every day.
