Lescott, Jagielka and Cahill were BIG gambles considering the lack of money we have have and the fact that even if they are good in the championship it means nothing until you play in the premier league. Mancienne has been outstanding in the under 21's for England and went out on loan to Wolves and stood out that much he got called up in the full England squad. On the back of this he was immmediately recalled to Chelsea were he is now. I think that for four or five million he would represent a far lesser risk than going for somebody like Berra at hearts because Mancinne is playing against world class players in training every day.

If we got off offered between £15-£20 million you would have to say yes i'm afraid. We could pick up Mancienne from Chelsea for £4-5 million and get a striker or buy moutinihio. We could have all the money up front too. I would ask for Sturridge and £15 miilion seen as he wont get a sniff there.

I wouldnt want to see him go but if city offered 18-20 million i would let him go. You could get Mancienne from Chelsea for 4-5 million and maybe Moutinihio. Neville can stand in at left back if needed. In fact i would demand 15 million plus sturridge.

I think Moysie will play Vic up top due to the fact they have a lot of height at the back and are quite physical. When Felliani doesnt play we look a small team which worries me especially in the midfield. Im gonna go for 1-1 Osman for us.

If Felli gets booked against Hull i think he can still play against the shite in the league game but will then start his ban after that game. I'm going for 1-0 and Felliani to score.

Was on the city websites after the game on saturday and before the game they were slagging us to death but after the game they were all wishing they had the team we had. Unfortunately for us and city they will have to lower expectations of Kaka, Messi etc and they will put in BIG bids for the best players outside the top 4 so we will have to watch out because the likes of Arteta, Felliani, Lescott, Pioneer and Jagielka will be targets. I agree he is a baby, his style is awkward but i remember people saying that about Patrick Viera at the time. I'm not saying he will be as good as him but i think we will have a BIG player in the next two years.

Moysie is top drawer. People have short memories. Before he came we were relegation candidates every year. Now we are the club everybody forgets about when they are talking about who can break into the top four, but ultimately we are there or there abouts every year but one. I agree this years summer transfer business was a fuck up but i dont think that was Moyes fault. Moyes knows to get players in early like he did when we got Lescott, Johnson etc and how much it benefits everybody and he wouldnt have wanted to leave it to the last day. Looks a top top striker to me. If we are going for him it makes you wonder who will miss out. I think it may be Vaughan. Love looks two footed and scores all types of goals. Moyes was there checking him out in europe midweek so there is some truth in it............................
