One of the best young full backs around. That leg break really can change a player, and the wrong manager can be a nightmare too.
I think it's just a few circumstances which have hindered him.
that and all the extra meals per day
-
He was poor last night, think he needs to be taken out of the limelight and given a rest as soon as we get bodies back
What is everyone expecting? Didn't score 20 goals in one game? Oh, the woe.
Thought his pressing in the first half was much needed. Once second half started / the subs happened / the shape changed he drifted out of it but he wasn't the only one guilty of it. Still stoked on this young player.
All that being said, cannot wait for Morgan to be back. No one in midfield keeps that rolls royce out the side.

Williams was sent off and Mirrallas, Barry, Gueye, and Robles were all close as well
Manager trying to lessen the chance of a 10 man situation makes sense
-
Mou ripped Shaw a new one after the game in the presser
Shaw also look overweight
Further confirming we need to be looking elsewhere (ie robertson, etc)
-
Expanded upon it in the matchday thread but basically a waste of space today.

DCL gets a 0
That defense was tired and then he walks around like that?
Valencia? Lookman? Both would have run more. In fact I would have.
-
DCL has fresh legs and not pressing and thus I am not IMpressed.

So stoked!

the epl fantasy game also has Robertson on the cheap. currently in my team.

into this. wanted him here as cover for coleman before spurs got him. put in some nice crosses when he was at burnley.
-
I'm firmly in Koeman's camp on this.
-
Glad to see him enjoying his football.

Notice everyone typing up long lists of players. Would much rather add a few quality players / stars then a whole new team. Two to three big signings. If that was the limit then CB, AM, and ST would be the focus.
Cannot believe the Coleman and Baines shade in this thread. Class acts. Both of them. Also both Holgate (right) and Galloway (left) can put in shifts as fullbacks. Plus Antone Robinson (left) has been impressive in the youth squad and Callum Connolly (right) has banged in 2 goals in 7 for Wigan on loan as a RB. Granted most of the youth I mention here would be considered CBs but all have had multiple games in fullback roles. Maybe something to address in the future but unsure about the summer. Need that star power up front first.
(assuming Garbutt is done, seeing that he can't get a u21 game over Robinson)

Barry against their lot is suicide. far too slow against some of the fastest players in the prem. If morgz cant play it has to be McCarthy.
indeed.
hope morgan returns soon. been class. next two games are big.

great news for everyone involved

Bruno Martins Indi on Sky today saying that he wants to make his move to Stoke a permanent one and that the team is in a good run of form and their target is 7th and european football THIS season.
-
Would be crushed if he left after only 1 season. Looking forward to battles between him and Mane in the derbys.
-
Garbutt is back from loan. Just m.i.a. Very odd that he hasn't even made the u23 bench. Rhino must rate Antonee Robinson over him.

Rolls Royce.

We can take the player.....but we'll never take their FREEDOM!
hahaha well done
-
Certainly feel that he deserves more game time, where ever that might be
-
Everytime I go to type anything, all I can think about is how he lost the ball right in front of the keeper in that Bayern game, haha
-
He's only got 48 appearances (in all comps) in nearly 3 years for us, hard to base this "hes a great player / he's a shit player" off that. Give him a full season next year, if he gets injured again, long term, or fails to show he can cut the mustard then sell. I remember a lot of people thinking he was going to be a hard knock because he has a knuckle duster tattoo.
Agree with this. Let him fight for a place, certainly would also help his market value at the same time if he was to eventually move on. Stoked for so much competition in the midfield. Hopefully we will be tough as nails moving forward and whoever ends up being left out is moved on.

Was into this. You do need snide on the pitch. Think he felt justified seeing that the ref did not call the obvious foul on Holgate like a minute before the build up to the drop ball. Young could have easily had two yellows in that game.
MIrallas was reckless in the game though, easily could have seen two yellows himself.
