Would be a decent signing for the right price.

Ozil is mad lazy & not a koeman type, no thanks. Would much rather have the hardworking sigurdsson.

This thread has gone off the rails. Anyone who doesn't rate Gana has lost touch. Out tackled Kante in less games. All of my unfortunate friends who are Arsenal fans want him. Best signing for the money of the season out of all teams.

Article mentions 20mil? Transfermarkt only has him at 7mil, ha.

As long as the clown isn't in goal I'm not arsed what the excuse is.
hahaha agreed.

Gana > McCarthy
All day everyday.
Gana is potentially player of the season, potentially one of the best deals in terms of signings for all clubs this year (thanks walsh/whoever), when has that EVER been said about McCarthy? Not saying he is terrible but... seriously, when has that ever been said about McCarthy?
Gana's impressive Makelele role will allow Davies freedom and piece of mind to get forward, and will be further solidified by Morgan being a rolls-royce of an anchor (assuming we play 4-3-3, which seems preferred under koeman)

Well deserved. Come in and helped turn our season around.

I'm bored, here's my fantasy transfers.
Gk: ??, Joel, Stekelenberg
RB: Coleman,??, Kenny
RCB: Holgate,??, Pennington
LCB: Williams, Mori, Galloway
LB: ??, Baines, Garbutt
DM: Schneiderlin, Barry, Besic
CM: Davies, McCarthy, Gana
AM: ??, Barkley
LM: Mirallas, Lookman
RM: ??, Bolasie, Deulofeu
ST: Lukaku,??, DCL
I'd only upgrade the 'keeper if there is someone better than the likes of Joe Hart.
Back up RB if cheap. If not make do with Holgate and Kenny. Trippier and Cedric.
CB would be a must. Hopefully someone from the Italian league who is used to playing in a 3.
LB, if an upgrade is available.
If McCarthy is done, go for Carvalho.
AM definitely need some competition for Barkley, ideally an experienced player and not too good to keep Barkley out all the time. More someone to push Barkley to become the player he has the potential to be.
RM someone like Redmond or take a risk on someone from la liga maybe Correa. Willian if he can be convinced.
Back up striker. Assuming we keep Lukaku, doubt we'd get much quality as a second choice. Maybe stick with Valencia or go for an up and comer from the championship.
Handanovic, Trippier, Rodriguez or Robertson, Willian, Sigurdsson, Kodijia
I'd prioritise the CB, AM, ST positions.
Not a fan of Gana? Seems more of a starter than a 3rd stringer.

Claude Puel fightin' hard to keep his squad. What it must be like to be a Southampton fan...

IF any of our players go to Chelsea (b/c no one like Chelsea, save their own fans), would certainly like to see one coming the other way. My feelings of the team aside, they do have impressive squad depth.

Certainly was too early. Lookman at half was a good shout and Gana had the card, so I would have left Davies on for a bit longer.
But credit to the manager for making changes. Was certainly needed, just didn't have the desired effect.
Some goods points on both sides on the Davies/Barry swap. My point was that it was way too early. Certainly a key pass from Barry would have helped but waiting for 45 mins and it never happening while supporting his slow pace made for some boring viewing.

scored today against valencia
was a penalty

Certainly feel that he has looked his best on the right side of a back three. He is energetic. Gets up and back but sadly does not have the same effect as Coleman in the final third.
Noticed everyone saying he should be playing CB but in no way does he displace Williams for me. Williams has that right sided CB spot on lock when we are using four at the back. Bet Koeman feels the same way and it's why we see Holgate at RB.
I am stoked we have someone so young and versatile in the squad. Getting experience and certainly has room to grow/learn.

Agree, didn't really get the Davies-Barry swap.
Certainly was too early. Lookman at half was a good shout and Gana had the card, so I would have left Davies on for a bit longer.
But credit to the manager for making changes. Was certainly needed, just didn't have the desired effect.

His shot that hit the post was tapped back in by a teammate for their only goal.
Wasn't the top midfielder on the pitch, but Man U clearly looked the better side.
-
im not sure. He's not seemed himself, mostly age/injuries/tactics. But we need to replace him in the next 2-3 windows.
Money better spent in positions that need filling / replacements now. Not going to buy 11 players this summer. In terms of backs, focus should be on the right.

Transformers 4?
Shit movie, therefore he must be a shit goally!
T4? Is this guy 16 or 6? haha.
-
No need to break the bank in this position with Baines around.
-
Nope. We already have enough old CBs.
