Oviedo looks so nervous, he needs to calm down.
-
Is it Monday yet?!
-
So is it all about business and making money, or is Unsworth plotting a future all-conquering first team with these youngsters?
Love the job Rhino is doing. Hoping for the latter.

Decent window we're in a much better place but overall we were two players short imo
This.
Much has been said, some that I agree with and some that I do not, but anyway you slice it, we are better off.
Excited for the season and the climb upwards! COYBs!

Guidetti available again since Celta Vigo signed Rossi. Malaga have already made an offer. This guy would be perfect backup for Lukaku. He is a fantastic finisher.
Interesting...
They also picked up Claudio Beauvue in January. Have 5-6 strikers in the squad.

*yawn*
We got Gana.

4 year deal? Im cool with that
Strong, decent hold up play. Great scoring record at Swansea. Certainly rate him more than Kone, so why not?
-
Yeah looks versatile however I'm not too excited about this one.
He's not even first choice for Napoli.
I'd put Milik (Higuain's replacement) Callejon, Mertens, Insigne are all ahead of him. So fifth choice. Certainly do not understand this one. Maybe it's all rumor, just like most have been this summer?

I love how blunt Koeman is. The boss is boss.

With Moyes at Sunderland and rumors of Martinez at Hull, I wonder if they will go after any of our squad players. Thoughts? Anyone you would like to see moved on?
-
niasse said something? who cares.
back to the magic man!
really hoping he matures with age and works on his fitness. granted it was a pre-season game, but he still didn't make the full 90. last season it seemed he lost steam before the end of games as well. what are your thoughts?
-
Kante 32mill Sissoko 35 mill ermm no thanks
-
Not sure how I feel about this one. 30 mil? Would assume that Barry is a better passer, tackler, and interceptor than Witsel. Witsel did collect 6 goals in all comps last season tho.

No thanks

Pros & Cons of WHP, Stonebridge Cross, North Docks, and Finch Farm have all been discussed. Is there anywhere else they could build?
Ha, EFC-Paul answered my question as I was typing. Is Trafalgar something they have looked at before? -
Attacking Mid: We don't need a player but it would be really nice to bring in a real star here. With that being said, Barkley could still be a real player under the right manager, right system, with confidence and we probably have too many needs elsewhere to bring anyone in here.
Get a silky no.10, Ross can play both deeper and rotate as the ACM.
Really hoping Dowell gets a shot under the new manager. Would be great to see him and Ross play together / rotate.

Realistic - Favre
Unrealistic - Emry
Do not want - Moyes, Low,
This.

Sad fact is that if we ended this season with 1 less win than we already have and Sunderland win today and on the final day. We would be 1 spot above the drop as Sunderland would most likely pass us on goal diff. Just awful.
-
Wish he had gotten more minutes. Hopefully happens at the KP.
-
Doesn't he play on the right? Just like every single winger we have? Left footed but likes to dribble to the middle with it. Would be an expensive deal to add a player to the position we have the most cover in. I would certainly pass on it.
In all seriousness, Konoplyanka would have been the winger to get from Kiev. A monster on the left. He prefers La Liga, so do not see him leaving now that he is at Sevilla even though he isn't a guaranteed starter.
My opinion past, present, and forever.

spoke too soon, now a hattrick

on a brace currently in their game against leicester u21s
Oumar Niasse
in General Football and Sport Discussion

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee this morning but....
Niasse is not good enough so why play extra nice? He already has the paycheck, the car. Certainly has the funds to build his own locker room, ha. Still do not understand people's reaction to what seems like a slow news day. Why the sudden u-turn on the loyalty we owe him? Some rather weak goals in an u23 team? Why give him a locker if he isn't going to play first team football. What message would that send to our younger players who might deserve it? Our new manager didn't sign him and wants to free up funds. Sounds like a proper decision.
