  1. And Gabriel who was taken from under our noise.
  2. We need to start sorting our defence out, plenty of us have been saying this since Martinez was manager, that seems to have been forgotten about this season but the amount of goals we are conceding suggest it should still be our priority, you won't get anywhere with a defence like ours it will always bite you in the arse and hold you back.
  3. I do understand your system, my point being if Trump would have won again then I would be saying I don't understand Americans, what sort of country would have the mind set to re-elect a prick like him, that's why I don't think it was huge, for me it had to be a forgone conclusion that Biden would win, otherwise my faith in humanity and people rising from the shocking depths of despair he led you into would have been dashed, and if Trump would have won I would have been saying ”you know what you're a fucked up country get on with it ” so no not a surprise for me at all that Biden won the people come out in there record numbers to get rid of him, that tells me all about Americans that I need to know and my faith in you as a people to do the right thing has been upheld, so not huge for me just back to normality.
  4. I didn't think Biden's win was huge or anything was stacked against him, I would have found it more of shock if he hadn't won, surely Americans wouldn't make the same mistake again and vote in the arsehole that is Trump.
  5. The back line really concerns me that the same line that got given a lesson from a poor Utd.
  6. Regardless of what leads up to the goal and I do agree with most of what people have been saying about Keane’s position and Gylfi’s lack of effort, for me Holgate unfortunately has been left as the last man who can stop or have the opportunity to stop the goal, yet he doesn't make any real attempt to cut off and stop Fernandez, we can moan about the 5-10 seconds of play that leads up to the goal, but Holgate has to leave his man and block off Fernandez for not doing that he is as guilty for the goal as anyone else, he didn't react to the development of play, and he was rightly or wrongly at that particular moment in time the last line of defence and he has to get a cross and deal with it. As harsh as that might sound because of what led up to that point he still has to deal with that danger.
  7. For me I care still as much about leaving the EU as I did when the country voted to leave, Covid hasn't diminished that in the slightest if anything it's added more to my concerns about leaving then before Covid was on the radar.
  8. Well you leavers were never going to get what you wanted, you were always going to be in a half way house, and as remainers new it would be the shit house.
  9. So Fernandez scoring isn't a reason, he can see everything unfolding in front of him he can see Keane isn't responding to the danger behind him so he has no option but to leave his man and try to stop Fernandez, because if he doesn't the result is what we witnessed.
  10. But all that still doesn't excuse Holgate from not leaving Martial and closing the door on Fernandez, he has to move to cover the danger, and by not doing so it has resulted in an unchallenged goal it couldn't get any worse than that.
  11. I'm going to exercise my right to no comment
  12. The first goal was poor defending on the part of Holgate and Keane, they have left far to much space between each other, Keane has his back to Holgate and can't see the huge space between them, Holgate can see the chasm between them but doesn't react to the danger, he has no option but to go towards Keane and close the space that Fernandez is moving into that is the immediate danger not Martial, he has to leave Martial and deal with the immediate danger he can not use the fact that he was marking Martial, his duty is to deal with the most immediate threat which is the space that Fernandez was able to ghost into unopposed.
  13. At this moment in time I think I will agree with the Don, after all I've got to believe he is more knowledgeable about these matters than most, and if I'm wrong about that then God help us.
  14. Shukes set the standard others followed
  15. I get what your saying and he will be disappointed at not being able to keep hold of it, but we can only guess really what he's thinking, but I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt more because he was pushed a nano second before the ball arrived so there for I don't believe he had the ball fully in his possession, or you could be in the camp that believes he would have dropped it even if he wasn't pushed .
  16. When you're off the ground you can't go backwards forwards or sideways try it, you need a separate force to propel you in any of those directions simple Physics really, Pickford is clearly pushed when off the ground which sends him backwards that can not happen with out force impossible. We are discussing there's never been a problem with that that I'm aware of, can you please explain how if you jump straight up in the air you then land 2-3 feet behind where you took off from how that happens, unless of course your David Blaine or Dynamo.
  17. I agree mate for me I find incomprehensible that fellow Evertonians are looking for him to fuck up every game, so much so that they have to nick pick on the smallest insignificant incidents every game, I can understand that from supporters of other team's but our own very poor. Referring to yesterday's incident I myself said fucking hell Pickford catch it, which I take back and apologise to him for, others won't in fact knowing now what happened they still hold him responsible, some even claimed it was a Stonewall penalty that Pickford had fouled McGuire, no hands up I was wrong instead they will be even more eager to run him down at a later date to make up for the fact that they can't hang him for Saturday's incident, because as much as they are blinkered there is a limit to how much they can blame him for.
  18. Every player as a duty to lead by example and show spirit and fight Davies has that in bundles, what he lacks in natural ability he more than makes up for in endeavour, we see that to an extent with Allan, but with Gylfi and Gomes we don't, Gylfi just isn't good enough even if he tried his hardest he wouldn't make it here, and that's more about him as a player than his attitude, I do believe he wants to succeed and tries he's simply not good enough. Gomes annoys the fuck out of me he has the ability we know that, now he's lost the fight and desire and it's shit to watch him just going through the motions doing nothing of any worth with a half hearted attitude, he needs to step up show some fight and passion for the club that resurrected his career before he becomes like Schneiderlin, because at the moment its seems to be heading that way. So at the moment our only hope is give Davies a shot and pray that Gbamin comes back from his injury and proves to be the player we hoped we bought, then back into the transfer market come January.
  19. We will beat Fulham with Richarlison back and that will only enforce the myth that we can not win without him in the team, I was desperate to win one of those games to dispell that theory its not good for us as a team carry that around every season. Yet we should go into this game with our preferred line up, but with still a leaky defence our only saving grace is that Fulham are poor and lack a real goal threat, still plenty to do with the team this season but this surely must be a win.
  20. Now you can take your back your rightful place at the top of the list of countries who want to look after and improve the world
  21. Fuck forgot the last one, the day just keeps getting worse.
  22. Hopefully McGuires statement clarifys the situation and we all acknowledge he had a decent game, and like Olsen he can't be held responsible for the 2 goals conceded.
  23. Now chase the prick for his millions of unpaid tax.
