Forgive me if I can't get excited over a player returning who spends more time on his arse than Emile Heskey. He doesn't have the talent to be an Everton player IMO and he has an attitude problem on the pitch, nevermind off it. The amount of times you see him throwing a strop because something hasn't gone right for him is alarming. Fair enough, we want him to show he cares but then he does fuck all to rectify whatever has gone wrong. That's not good enough. Calico - I don't give a crap if Anichebe is from Liverpool or Japan; he's just not that good. You say we don't realise how lucky we are for having a local lad like Vic? I see it more that Vic doesn't realise how lucky he is to be playing for Everton.

And the people who use this illness as an excuse fail to remember he said himself he'd lost 9lb but had put 7lb of it back on, and that was about a month ago now so I'd expect him to be back to the weight he was at.

We can win it, we've always been able to win it, but we've needed the players to turn up and play well, which is something they've not been able to do for a long time in a major tournament. It's no different this time around IMO.

I think he's too negative at times and more concerned with not losing rather than winning. He's also tactically a bit crap; shown by the fact he still has us playing mostly long ball even after all this time. I do think he's a great manager but he does piss me off. People who aren't Everton fans think he's a God but when you see us week in week out then you're bound to pick up on his deficiencies.

You want us to sign him and then go on to say he's got brittle knees, have a think .
