He said he had that intention last summer though. I hope that we will get all our signings done early (like when we signed AJ, Howard and Lescott) but I'm not hopeful, and think we're in for a bit of a wait. -
I reckon it looks miles better with the blue shorts, rather than the white.

That's my point. He hasn't played enough for people to be saying he'd be a good signing. He has potential, of course, but tbh, we need a player with more than potential. I'd rather spend money on a midfielder we know can cut it.

I like him but it's not likely that we'll play a conventional 442 is it, so we'd be paying £10millionish for a player that probably won't get that many starts.

OK, so creaming was a bit of an exaggeration, but most people want him brought in but he's done fuck all for anybody to see to really judge him.

You can't say we'd have won with so and so in the side. Also, Arteta disappears in the big games so unless he was going to change for that one game then if we'd have won it wouldn't have been down to him. -
