  1. As much as 777 worry the shit out of me, I do think there's an agenda from certain people against them. A lot of what's been put out has been unsubstantiated (with some that has been, hence the worry on my part) and looks like scaremongering. I just wonder why and what their end game is. They keep mentioning that there are others waiting to step in but why wait?
  2. Moshiri has wasted far too much time on these. Yet another bad decision on his part.
  3. He doesn't need an op, so that's fantastic news!
  4. I read it wrong and surgery may not have been avoided. He'll be seeing a specialist today and will find out then. Fingers crossed for him.
  5. A little bit more meat to the bones of that. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/apr/29/majority-of-premier-league-clubs-vote-in-favour-of-exploring-spending-cap-plans
  6. The Independent Key Match Incidents Panel found that only 1 of the three penalty incidents was incorrect - the third one. Exactly how I saw it tbh.
  7. He’s out for a minimum of 6 weeks after surgery has been avoided. Be touch and go with the Euros I would imagine.
  8. I was surprised he did because you could tell it was a bad one from his reaction. I didn’t even see how he got the injury. What actually happened?
  9. That would only be likely to happen if we were requesting it as our grounds for appeal, and I can't see us doing that.
  10. Absolutely. That's another reason why I didn't really get why some Everton fans have said we shouldn't have appealed, why some have said now that we're safe we should withdraw the appeal. The only way I can see us withdrawing the appeal is if Forest don't get anything back from theirs (due to have the verdict any day now).
  11. Why believe the vice captain when you can believe a news article with absolutely no evidence whatsoever? Dick head.
  12. I'm gutted that he'll miss the rest of the season with torn ankle ligaments.

  14. Because £60m to United sounds wrong. We won't get what we should get for him but £60m is still too low, and to go to United... he can do much better than that and it would be mad to agree to go there.

  16. Considering I've already posted about it being a done deal (not that I believe it), it would be very strange to be surprised by it .
  17. I think they fully expected clubs to just take their medicine and not appeal and that it would quickly see off the independent regulator. They underestimated things badly and the complete opposite has happened.
  18. I wonder if the club will be considering holding on to Branthwaite and just taking the hit of a points deduction. I guess that would depend on just how much it would put us over. If it would only put us a small amount over then you'd have to consider it. If it leaves us massively over then obviously it would be out of the question.
  19. Even if the Premier League had taken the 17 points from us that they wanted to we still wouldn't be in the relegation zone today. Just think about that.
