Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Bizarre decision to leave out the only other natural CF in the squad, maybe he had picked up an injury. -
Our best chance of getting to a final for a long time, Jordan playing rock solid.

Possible as there a few dodgy characters in the area ( like anywhere of course) timing seems a bit coincidental though. -

I live just down the road from Rafa, house isn’t quite the same size or value though. It’s a despicable action by whoever put the banner up, a complete mindless moron who may tarr real fans by association. To confirm they are total knobheads, local BBC radio have reported that the banner was not placed on Rafas house causing upset to the homeowners, I hope they are caught and dealt with by the police. -

I’m ignoring all the press guff, and will wait for the official announcement, then we will know who it is. I still don’t think he’s the right man for us, as he’s not done much of note recently. -

Baines scored from free kicks as well as putting in free kicks and corners into the box, Siggy has yet to score from a free kick ( I’m fairly certain on this) not a great return from a so called dead ball specialist IMO. He is very good however at pointing during games. -

Hopefully we’ve not heard cos it’s all trash paper talk about Rafa, just like all the others being touted. -
Blue Bill's shiny new stadium at the docks...
Wiggytop replied to Lowensda's topic in General Everton Discussion
I would love to know if anyone from UNESCO took a walk on their own from the Liver Buildings up the dock road on a windy night in November and saw the culture and heritage, well clearly they haven’t as they would have shit themselves and seen how run down the area is currently. On BBC radio Merseyside they had a conversation this morning, virtually everyone who rang or sent in a message wasn’t arsed about the UNESCO listing, they wanted investment and development of the area. For those who don’t live locally have a look on Google earth. -

I don’t want Rafa, hasn’t done much recently and isn’t the new thinking mama get we need. I’m in the Potter camp now, youngish, Prem experience, made an average team play nice football last season, and would be a up for a project. I think we won’t see anything announced until the Euros are over, manager and player wise. -

Flipping hope so, nice guy and all that but we need more dynamic players. -

He did do well, but look at what happened when he went to Man U and money, he’s definitely a finder of bargains rather than managing big names, Soucek and Coufal being the latest two finds he’s made. -

Me neither, it’s all speculative re hashed guff, anyone could write it, but probably with less errors than the Echo. -
Ruben Loftus-Cheek

It’s a no from me, barely made an impression at Fulham last season, should have been one of their saviours, absent from many starting lineups, not sure if it was injury or just not good enough, either way we have enough of that calibre here anyhow. Shame as he was showing good potential before getting a bad injury a couple of years ago. -

Most of us here were suckered in by Ancelotti and his pedigree of winning trophies, who in reality delivered some of the dullest football in recent years, and failed to inspire the squad to qualify for Europe when we were in the best position to do so in many years. So is it the squad or the managers fault, partly both IMO, we have the slowest, most ponderous midfield in the PL, but we saw the same old starting 11 every week, managers fault. Why would a top class manager want to come unless they have the balls to not play Siggy, Gomes, Iwobi or Delph all had plenty of opportunity to deliver, but let it pass them by, in the starting 11. I want a manager whos prepared to shake things up and give us a midfield that fights for everything and can create for the forward line. I think either Nuno or Potter could do that, don’t know enough about the continental managers except Conti and Sarri from their time in the PL, didn’t warm to either. -
Pretty much like he looked at Goodison then !

I’ve been away without decent reception for a few days so it’s the first time I’ve been able to post on this. Like many I’m not sure who I want, but whoever it is, I want them to have the awareness to realise that Siggy, Gomes, Delph and Iwobi aren’t going to take the team forward, and the balls to tell the board and Moshiri to get rid, or let them know that they will only be seen as subs or emergency injury cover -
I’d be very happy if he has the same success here for us!

I feel fortunate that I have, and on many occasions, he is always at home games with his bucket, he really appreciates every penny that goes in, we always try and find him and drop a few quid in, top bloke IMO -

He would never fit in here, far too many forward passes ! Actualy I’ve always rated him, looks like Gomes but with some end product, it’s a yes from me.
