  1. https://talksport.com/football/1339014/why-rb-leipzig-red-bull-salzburg-both-play-europe-uefa-manchester-united-psg-qatar/
  2. Hard for me to see how a company with interest and money in quite a few other football clubs would be allowed to take over EFC. For example. What if two clubs they (777) own ends up meeting eachother in Europe League or the like? I'm sure there are some written paragrafs and laws concerning that. I just see too many conflicts in that. I surely hope for another bidder we can actually live with in the longer run. 777 ... sounds like a bloody casino.
  3. I would. She's an arse, over 50 and propably never had a man. Or a woman, for that matter.
  4. I think he just forgot to put on that sunblock factor 50 Palfy told about
  5. Not saying anything ... just quietly walking away
  6. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/03/13/european-super-league-name-change-denmark-uefa/ It's not the Claus Thomsen that played (not very well) 24 games for us in 1997-1999. Hopefully it's good riddance to the rich-clubs-project for good. Though I doubt it. Money rules way too much in foorball.
  7. Now I want to know how Dyche eats ...
  8. Two on top of eachother
  9. I'm pretty sure noone wants Dyche sacked in this season. Let's just make that clear. The debate is about the future which would be next season and onwards. As some have pointed out, the new owner and possible further points deduction is not settled. So there's a lot of mess to clean up first. It would be a lie to say we play attractive football for the time being, and there are more factors to it, but one of them is of course Dyche's way with tactics, formation. We certainly want to be an attractive club again, won't we? Yes, I thought so But that certainly require more stability from the manager and the players. But, as said, there are a few bumps in the road that needs attention first.
  10. To be honest, not many of the players have lately.
  11. Tough question, really. Too many "what if's" in it, I think. I mean, what if someone, for example Coleman, had started. he must be fit when on the bench. Personally I think one sub was a tad too early; Harrisons. Wouldn't have changed anything, I'm sure. But the starting line-up might have.
  12. And that would also be a damn shame.
  13. Would just like to add that we're certainly not the easiest team to play for at the moment. Makes it quite hard to see a players full potential.
  14. Sadly, that may probably be true and a damn shame.
  15. I thought you wrote *turnip* first hehe. Playing like a turnip, why not
  16. Personally I couldn't care less when subs are being made, just as long as they make sense and done at the right time...ish. An obvious sub being made too late in a game doesn't help anyone in the team. Or sub someone when really not needed. Then there's the starting 11. I don't get to see the training, but players not performing as they should in earlier games, for whatever reason, should probably be replaced with others. You play as a team and you work as a team, damn it. I could name a few players that doesn't really do their best at that, and I don't think they should play until they lose a bit of their selfishness. I know our squad is not as big as we would like it to be, but to me it just look like that there are certain players that get picked almost no matter what. I don't know. It's indeed tough times for us and we're going through a lot in these years. Hopefully all this crap will in some way strengthen us in a near future. We're one of the biggest clubs and I'd like to see us behave and play like one again. Patience, Sev ...
  17. That's what I keep telling him!
  18. Oh. And I'm watching Married... with children again. Like the series.
  19. Can you ssssshhhhh when watching tele or stream on pc? isn't the ssssshhhh or the headturn with rolling eyes only for movie theatres? Ok, I once ssssshhhhhh'd at by brother while watching The good, the bad and the ugly on dvd, but the bastard was eating loudly.
  20. Yes, that was a great game indeed, thank you, Matt. Saw it back then with my younger brother who is (sorry 'bout that hehe) a Man. United fan. Speaking of classics; first time I ever saw Everton play live on tele, black and white, of course, was us beating The Shite away 0-2 in 1970. Just thought at the age of six they were cool, and maybe because my bike was of the brand Everton
  21. Just fooling around with realistic and potential points for the rest of the season. Some might be a tad to optimistic. But hey, I'm a fan. Teams Realistic/Potential My not realistic points Man. United - Everton 0 or 1 1 Everton - Liverpool (PP) 0 or 1 3 Bournemouth - Everton 0 or 1 1 Newcastle - Everton 0 1 Everton - Burnley 3 3 Chelsea - Everton 0 or 1 1 Everton - Nott. Forest 3 3 Everton - Brentford 3 3 Luton - Everton 0 or 1 1 Everton - Sheff. United 3 3 Arsenal - Everton 0 0 Points sum 12 or 17 20 Total season points 37 or 42 45 And none of that will probably happen Our second "breach" is not included cos we we have no clue what will happen. List looks shit, sorry about that.
  22. And so do I, of course. Do I really need to put an Emoji in that post for you?
  23. Who needs movies when you have a thriller/drama like this.
  24. Thelwell did indeed do what was possible with the lack of funds we have and how attractive our club is. Respect for him and very much agree with you. But to hope that players can perform is not really my cup of tea... ehh coffee; if it's up to hope then you have no control Then you leave the decisions to things not reachable. But ok, I know what you mean
  25. And those are very important. With a misplaced long pass you at least have a little more time to correct for the mistake. With short passes, not so much.
