Id have big concerns with Gallardo. Benitez is a good shout as long as he is not in retirement land. Would like Simeone (obs language barrier though), Alegri may be helpful to Kean? Both unlikely. Viera done anything of note? Not sure what damage Sociedad and Sunderland has done to Moyes. Arteta too much of a risk. As you can see...really struggling here

Ive no idea where we are going to go next. I think Brands will be scouting options already behind the scenes and we will appoint another foreign manager we may or may not have heard of - with no PL experience Im guessing. Dont see any obvs British Managers out there at this time unless we revert back to Moyes with money. So...... Id like to see your ideas on 1 British and 1 Foreign manager who could be next realistic managers for us. Brief I think would be top 6 finish using players who are not quite top draw but have the potential to be and at mid price range maximum

Ive been resistant to giving him the nudge but my patience has gone now. I was happt when he was appointed but now think hes had enough time and is out of his depth with expectancy here.

Totally shocked at what I saw today. No midfield what so ever (only Davies came out with some credit) and our spine non existent. Players who are not good enough for out top 6 hopes (could say top 10); Sidibe, Gylfi, Holgate, Walcott, Tosun, Scheids. Showed them to be squad fillers only - I know we have major injuries but that should not be the main reason for tjis mess. We need someone new in to ruffle feathers and tell it like it is.

Completely this! Matinez was too brash - criminal not even practicing corners or set pieces because the % of goals scored from them is too low. Well, we managed to concede a fair few from them during his time! Not sure if his 1st season was a shot in the arm, a fresh start for the players or just luck!

1st game of the season for me in the flesh. Cant wait. Daughter in tow too. Oddly, her last game was Norwich in the league cup - think it was Bobby Martins time. Goal-fest would be really nice but a win will do to keep us moving up the table. Awful run of fixtures to come - although sometimes that suits us. Agree with keeping Tosun in - although not sure what DCL has done wrong to not start recently. Our injuries not all9wing for mych change in the line ups - Iwobi I guess could start.
