  1. Here in the states, the only rough start time for me in the midwest are the early afternoon UK kickoffs. Those matches usually start around 6:30 AM local time for me. If I'm not mistaken I believe the first Merseyside Derby of the season here in a few weeks will have that start time.
  2. In this country it can be charged as a criminal offense but the prosecutors didn't think there was enough to charge him in a criminal trial so they went the civil trial route. Biggest thing that would happen to the organization is losing their business certifications in the state of New York. Depending on how much the damages end up being in the civil trial, he could have to sell off some of the bigger properties he owns in the state, including Trump Tower.
  3. Not for nothing but aren't those two among the more likely relegation candidates?
  4. If I'm reading the current table right and the current score stands, we'd be up to 15th at the end of this match. Burnley still play later today against Manchester United. Bournemouth is at BHA and Sheffield United hosts Newcastle tomorrow.
  5. Kevin Schade hurt in pre-match warmups for Brentford. Keane Lewis-Potter in starting XI now.
  6. Nice. Yeah those places are great. I'm pretty sure the Cidery just opened here within the past couple years. And I've had friends rave about the microbrewery that Obed & Isaac's has. There are some other quality food and drink places I can recommend around here, depending on what you're looking for.
  7. Yep. Just a short trip (relatively speaking) down I-72.
  8. Downstate. Live in the capital city.
  9. Welcome to a fellow Toffee supporter from the Land of Lincoln.
  10. Here in the midwest, it isn't much better having this as a 6:30 AM kickoff. Guess we have to accept it though as the one or two matches a year we have to have at this kickoff time.
  11. Fellas, did we just score a goal? I haven't known what it felt like to see this in a PL game this season.
  12. And Man City getting an absolute cake walk to the Round of 16.
  13. How Toffee supporters feel to finally see their club score a goal in a match: Yes, it's a Carabao Cup match against a 4th division side but I'll take what I can get at this point.
  14. Spain is gonna be a side to have to deal with in the women's game for years to come. In addition to their senior team being World Cup champions, their U-17 and U-20 squads are the reigning champions at those levels too. It's gonna feel different for those of us here in the states as the talent gap in the women's game has lessened with how much investment there has been in other parts of the world so the U.S. won't be the dominant side they have been for awhile.
  15. We're only two matches in but the next two before the international break are going to be massive. Don't know if we necessarily need 6 but anything less than 3 would be a massive disappointment.
  16. Compared to last season's fixture at Anfield, Bournemouth was much more competitive today.
  17. It is nice to hear Jon Champion calling Premier League matches on NBC/Peacock here in the states. Looks like they'll mainly have him calling the late Sunday morning (U.S. time) matches when Peter Drury is calling those matches for Sky Sports in the UK.
  18. Everton having trouble finishing on offense since DCL isn't available or fit and opposing side scores a goal. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
  19. Hello to all. Have been a supporter of the club because of Tim Howard and have supported the Blues for what will now be my 10th season. Have had some good times since I started following the club and definitely have had some less than good times in the last couple seasons. I obviously follow the USMNT and have started following the expansion St. Louis City SC side in MLS this season. Looking forward to getting involved in discussions with you all.
