  1. I mean, yea, the story is a bit lame, but then, what do you expect. The director had to make a movie out of a 20 minute fight sequence...therefore, it was always going to be a bit slow at the beginning. Goldfishmemory was spot on with this comment "I dont care what anyone says Rocky is one of the best series of films ever, not for quality film making but for pure entertainment!". It is pure entertainment IMHO!
  2. I have floated the idea of a chatroom before, I think it may work, however, it is a hard one to call at times. Feel free to use my chatroom for the time being if you wish... www.fcssl.com , then that way we can see if at least it is worth the admin on TT having to spend time putting one up. Only a suggestion
  3. such a good idea...only, I would not have a clue. Sorry.
  4. argh, bugger! my hopes are rapidly fading. Hopefully DM will pull a trick out of his big hat soon... hopefully...
  5. is there anything more on this, official or unofficial from today? unfortunately, I have been away from Sky Sports and the radio throughout...

  7. lmao at Romey...I know exactly what you are talking about...I thought that circular blue thing was one of those old flip style projector photo thingies...you know... I can foresee I am going to have to research this a little bit more before I start spending money...
  8. I've just got back from a preview screening of Rocky Balboa at the Printworks, Manchester. Okay, firstly, Sly is now 'one of us!', , so I was always going to be a little bit biased, however, despite the'cheese' of it all and a somewhat slow beginning, once it got going it did pull on my heart strings a little, and the fight scenes are very very realistic and well put together. The cinematography is also very good and draws you in, but not half as much as when the theme song starts during the fight... I'm not going to spoil it for those who want to see it, but for those who are a little on the fence and undecided of whether to go to the cinema and watch it...just go. If nothing else it is entertaining. I recommend it anyway! lol
  9. Radio Merseyside is by far the best radio station on Merseyside...
  10. I think i would enjoy making one myself...at least that way, having learnt how to build websites and stuff, I can boast I know how the inners of a computer works too... hmmm, you all have me thinking and scheming of making more money...kinda like an evil bond enemy....mmmhhhuuuauaaaaa!
  11. Hmm, interesting, but that said, I really could not give a flying s***e what happens to the RS in any case.
  12. lmao. class! Defo, being put up on my forum too! lol!
  13. I don't think that it is that we fail to create chances, I can think of several which went begging... However, I think the problem with Everton at the moment is that our players seem completely unable to take the first time chance on goal. To put a finer point on it, little Leon had an opportunity in the second half, where, if he had of hit the ball first time when he recieved it we may have stood a chance, however he went for the 'always' second touch, which allowed the Reading defenders to suitably close him down and block any attempt. Even a first time 'blast' can see a well struck ball bouncing around the opponents penalty area or box, needing only a deflection to hit the back of the net. I guess first time touch comes with confidence, which comes with goals though...a vicious circle!
  14. I remember a certain 'once a blue, always a blue' comment then he shafted us... I just hope that Barton makes a complete u-turn and heads for Goodison park.
  15. Pistone could open a stall at the Heritiage Market, selling a wonderful array of recouperation slippers? Just a thought! lol
  16. Definately the best man for the job at the club...it's surely a cert.

  18. Licker, Imodium is a medication for diarrhea
  19. thanks for that... I would not even know where to start building my own PC. I have upgraded my memory, fitted a Firewire port and ethernet port respectively, however, other than that, i would not have a clue - albeit, it is well worth considering. For a decent spec, what type of price would you say I was looking at to build my own PC? Cheers...
  20. As many know, my better half and I are having a son, due in May. As a result, I am looking to save a little bit of space around or mansion, okay, semi-detached, and I am looking into the possibility of buying a Mini Mac. Has anybody here got one, or any experience with one. If you have one, let me know what you think... here is the link... http://www.apple.com/macmini/ Thanks all...
  21. I am normallly the first to judge whether something is racist or not. I can not abide or tolerate racism. However, the link posted by Mikeo (and thanks for posting it, I was unaware of what this was really about beforehand, and I was unable to find anything on it) is only a rmedia reported version, however, I don't see anything racist within it, WITH THE EXCEPTION of Jo's comments. I will say, that such comments, as reported; " On Monday night's episode, O'Meara reportedly suggested that Indians were thin because they were always ill as a result of undercooking their food", is not acceptable. Channel 4 have hushed racism suggestions away, branding them as 'girly rivalry', which is what certainly what I belive Danielle Lloyds comment of "You don't know where those hands have been" to be. Well, seriously, do you know where anybody's hands have been - and when it comes in to context with food preperation, I think it is a valid comment. Just because the person she is talking about is of an Indian background should not be the main factor in this being a racist, bullying or unfair comment. I defy anybody to define where a racist remark has been made by Danielle. I may have a biased opinion when it comes to Danielle, but in the cold light of day, I think this is nothing more than the media beating up a story, which only exists with Jo O'Meara, sadly. I still do not know what Jade Goodie has 'allegedly' been involved in though?
  22. Everton Lad, hehe, I was agreeing with you.... I only copied and pasted it across from an email...it is a shitty fact though isn't it!
