Faddy was inconsistent and crap last season according to you guys but now he is in form he is the dogs. I came into work this monring and read thw whole metalist thread from last night and you people who call for moyes to be sacked are a joke!!! We weren't rubbish we were avreage and we did enough to get through!!! I wouldn't mind if everyone slated the team for playing bad but you pick out players like Yak and Jags and say they aren't worthy to wear the shirt. B@llocks!!!! they had an off day and now you want them dropped when last week when Yak scored against Sheff wed AJ needed to be dropped. The biggest joke is the slating of Beattie. He worked hard for the team but couldn't get a goal so he had to go. Now Yak doesn't work hard but scores the odd goal he isn't worthy. Grow up and support your team. they are currently winning despite your crap support not because of it.

I pretty much agree with what everyone said. But I wnated to make two points. 1. Yes Yak looked lazy but he is not like AJ and I think in the right formation he will get goals and that is why we bought him. Arteta had an off day just like Yak but we aren't saying he was a watse of money give the boy a chance. 2. We are 5th in the league and into the group stages in europe we have got past a banana skin in the league cup. And we are doing all this without playing very well isn't that what they say the sign of a good team is win games with a bad performance.

I have to admit this thead is slightly about playing devils adovcate. But how important to people think Timmy is to our side. For me he not creative and not really a great tackler but what he does give (Goals obviously) is an air of arrogance and spirit that pushes the team to win. A bit like savage at blackburn. For this I really think he would thrive at being the club captain.And I hate hearing nevilles winey voice being the spokesmen for the team

This is stupid why is VDM not going with the team. Either moyes is giving him another chance and is goign to let him have a fair crack of the whip or he should release him. I know VDM hasn't done anything from the club but he doesn't deserve to be given false hope it looks like moyes is being really vindictive.

If manny decided on such short notice to not come to us it shows he doesn't have much commitment to a cause so I am happy to let him rot in valencia reserves.

This may be true but I think we have had a bad spell and due to some bad luck and some bad play and some bad descisions moyes has hopefully seen the light and will start playing a settled midfield with nev at the back. I have personally always been a fan of the 352 formation and I think baines and neville would be up to it. and the team you have picked in that formation is pretty much who I would play although I think Jags deserves a place so I am not sure If I would put him in at CB instead of stubbs or put him in CM instead of grav.

I want some ideas that solve the left side problem with the squad we have hence asking if Piernar can play there with any amount of skill. This being a discussion forum that was the point in opening the topic. Not for people to ridicule a perfectly vaild suggestion.

Remind who have we bought to play left side midfield cause there is no left footed player at the club. So what your saying is we should not suggest tactics that play players out of position what a stupid argument

I haven't seen any of the games he has played in. Where is moyes playing him? is he on the left? How is he doing?

I don't see the point it keeping giving opinions about VDM he hasn't played in the sidde enough for us to say he is or isn't good enough. When fit if he comes in and does a good job I am happy to except him but if he never plays and carries on causing problems I will be just as happy that he never plays. I hope moyes does not give carsley and nev a start in midfield tonigth becauise he should experiment.

I actually think it would both baines and nuno are very good at crossing atleast they would stick to the wing and hence keep the crosses coming in. I have really liked the look of baines and I think him and nuno could do some damage.

I have just had a thought. Nuno is left footed and so is baines. I have always quite rated nuno going forwrad but not at the back and he can defo cross why can't we get him playing left wing with baines at left back. Would give us more balance and I haven't seen any of the right footed options does us any favours
