    Quite honestly I cant understand why he is in the team He offers nothing tracking back and he is nowhere near as effective as Mirallas,Lennon or Mirallas going forward

    Yeah I agree , if he had a Peter Reid in there with him it would do him the world of good. I was hoping James McCarthy would be that player but he hasn't turned up yet this season, although today was hopefully a little glimpse of him getting his act together

    Apart from all his assists you mean? I grant you that he can have some piss poor games, as does anyone, but to say he is just a goal poacher is quite frankly ridiculous Lukaku is the focal point of how Everton play, if you don't have his presence upfront then we just don't have a cutting edge

    Totally agree. He is doing a lot better this season but still hasnt done anywhere near enough to warrant a new contract,.Its not as though there are a list of clubs queuing up to snap him up, so lets wait until the end of the season and if he carries on doing a job for the rest of the season I wouldn't be adverse to a 12 month contract extension

    Please don't tell me that you are now trying to claim that Naismith is a better CF than Lukaku?????? Naismith is a clever player and a great finisher , and if his talent matched his brain then you may be onto something. But if Lukaku was out for 6 months would you be happy with Naismith leading the line?

    Ha ha fair one ! I do think that his off field problems are a direct result of his injuries so if he could just get beyond that there is one hell of a player in there
