Yeah to be fair we should always play the wistle and Barry was at fault for spotting the ball and turning his back on it, but its the Refs job to know the rules and I hate the little wanker anyway so Im placing the blame firmly at his feet, especially sseing as though he made us re-take a free kick 10 minutes later

If your looking at it from a Spurs point of view he had an absolute blinder! He practically got an assist for the goal by ignoring the rules of the game and then denies the penalty. Yes ok our players shouldnt have switched off but the fact of the matter is that they gained an unfair advantage which they scored from by taking the free kick from where they did and quite simply that is against the rules of the game, what our players did or didnt do is irrelevant if the Referee does his job properly. The free kick should have been retaken from the correct spot

Cant believe some people are saying Twatenburg is not to blame for that, he had two big decisions to make and got both wrong One cost us a goal and the other denied us a penalty , how much more of an impact do you want him to play? No surprise that the game hinged on 2 poor decisions by Twatemburg Free kick was taken 10 yards from where the foul occured and it was a nailed on penalty, Think we can kiss goodbye to any lingering hopes we had of Champions League now, two 6 pointers against our biggest rivals and weve lost them both.
