  1. I voted for him a MotM He was unlucky to hit the post and his link up play with Baines was once again our main threat. I think he was instrumental in everything we tried to do He does seem to be a bit of a whipping boy at the moment, guess hes a bit like Marmite !
  2. Ha ha thats because he does get blamed for everything Your right though ultimately the buck stops with BK so IF there has been something sinister going on then he has to be held responsible. A rumour I did hear yesterday from a very reliable source was that Roberto had asked the club to reign Myers in a bit because he thought that himself and the players were doing too much community stuff and it was impacting on the training
  3. The only mistake I can renenber him making was when he had the touch of an elephant and miscontrolled a simple ball and gifted Caroll a free shot at goal, other than that I thought he did ok
  4. I dont think he is going to b able to get anwhere near his current wage wherever he goes and at his age a 3 year deal on £50k is a good offer
  5. But then if you get a ticket ahead of guy who goes to every away game then thats not really fair either
  6. When did I say that? In fact I said that it did look like something wasnt right at the club even if I do think its more likely to be with Elstone I just disagreed with Brett when he said Kenwright always comes out with his hands clean
  7. Lol I dont think he ever does If a player wants to leave its BKs fault If Messi doesnt want to sign its BKs fault If the Chang is warm at half time its BKs fault The crisis in the Ukraine and Syria is probably his fault as well Thta said it odes look like something is not right but my money is on Elstone

  17. Yeah he might even make it through to half time on Saturday
  18. Gutted , he has been a major player in the good vibe surrounding the club this season
  19. http://www.nsno.co.uk/everton-news/2014/02/fa-cop-out-of-arsenal-ticket-row/ Rather predictable response from the FA
  20. Erm thats why i said "My personal take on it is that it isnt quite the same old Everton but I can see where Cotto is coming from"
  21. Yes of cause he would and that statement in itself is a perfectly good mitigating circumstance as to why nothing has changed yet Its an absolutely monumental ask for any manager in the world to get Everton into the top 4 under the present circumstances and it remains to be seen whether or not Roberto can achieve that, only time will tell You havent got to agree with the thread originatorsinitial post to make it a worthwhile thread My personal take on it is that it isnt quite the same old Everton but I can see where Cotto is coming from Are we any nearer cracking the top 4 - no Are we any more likely to win the League Cup - no Are we any more likely to win the FA Cup - yes i think we are, Roberto's positivity means we will always attack teams and that increases our chances no end IMO and I think that is the one thing that has changed
  22. Haf I couldnt give a shit what is going on at Man Utd Im an Evertonian so couldnt care less about them Get your head out of your arse, its a forum why cant we debate whether or not the clubs fortunes have changed? Just because its a topic you dont like doesnt make it ridiculous its clear that finaces are holding the club back so why cant we talk about it? The same things that were holding us back under Moyes are still holding us back under Martinez so I think its a reasonable thread The title of the thread is same old Everton so what relevance have words like NDA's, Mansour, Staverly, Lerner, Kings dock, NTL, Fortress, Kirby got in this thread? I had enough of your negativity last season to last me a lifetime which is why I do find your spatt with Cotto rather amusing
  23. Yeah I totally agree with most of what you are saying but surely if you admit that there are some valid arguments in this thread then its perfectly reasonable to discuss it? Haf goes on one the moment anybody says anything negative about Everton and takes it as a personal dig at Martinez and or some form of unwarranted praise for Moyes, well in my eyes this thread isnt either
