    From what I saw we lacked creativity and fluidity - Jags looked solid in 2nd half. Lets not forget this was a pre-season friendly away to a very good team who we probably didn't do as much research on as if it were a 'competitive' game. Hopefully we'll put on a better show at home on fri... Mucha/Distin on their goal was a little cringeworthy!!!

    No link but in the Times it says we're preparing a loan move. Imagine Bellamy and Barton in the same team along with Neville, Heitinga and Cahill - there would be noone hiding on the pitch at least!!!

    It won't play for some reason - this chap got his sources? When I was listening they were talking about Arsenal wanting to take him. I'd like us to move quick and just get him on board to be honest as I think a fair few clubs will consider him a steal on a free especially with all CL teams (minus City) in the market for CM's.

    In addition to the transfer link thread I think it'd be interesting to see a poll on what people think. I voted yes - as he's done time for his crimes and would no doubt improve us in a footballing sense.

    Just seen it and it said, 'a name connected to Everton..' To me that's them playing on the fact his name is Rooney, not that we're after him!

    I think Moyes knows this and it probably frustrates him too. We are a first team winger and striker away from challenging 4th place - it's so frustrating to us all!

    If Jags is sold we've got Heitinga and Yobo who are more than capable and proven replacements - it'd be stupid to prioritise CB when we don't have an out and out winger in the squad! - I think this is crap journo jarg without really knowing the situation/squad at EFC.

    Yobo stopped being a starter when Lescott was moved into the middle and Baines became a starter.
