  1. Aye sweet justice my friend, sweet justice.
  2. Even though it saddens me to hear about his child i dont think this will save him. The only thing would be if he gave his heart against Blackburn (but thats not gonna happen), to show he cares about this club. But i think he will be gone before the end of the window.
  3. After watching the Reading game there is no way we can afford to under-estimate any opponent we have this season. The reason for this is because we simply cannot do a Chelsea or a Liverpool where you go a goal or 2 down and then make a miraculous recovery and snatch the game. That isnt Evertons style. We need to go out and win that game in the 1st half. 2-0 by half time will give me something to smile about. I have heard that Baines is fully fit for this game so it would be nice to see him start, but personally i think Valente will still start. Mcfadden is still recovering from injury believe it or not so he will be benched but will get extra playing time in the second half or who knows maybe even a half time sub from Moyes. AJ will be desperate for a goal after Reading so a smart man would bet on him to get one. If he scores for England it may be even better chances of a goal for the game. Lets just hope he doesnt take a knock v Germany.
  4. I heard sweet music today (or yesterday if you want). A liverpool fan actually admitted to me something we know is all true. He said that Arteta is better than Alonso. I have heard so many red shite fans over rating Alonso and insisting that he is better than Arteta. So you can imagine i nearly grew ginger hair and called myself Max Branning when i heard this. Back to the question i think if Michael Carrick is worth 18million which btw is the biggest joke ever, Arteta must be worth about 24-25 mil. But we all know that this would not be the case in reality. I think if Everton got an offer of 12-15 million for him they would accept. But we know hes worth a lot more to us than that.
  5. Personally i think Vagner Love would be a better buy, he is valued at about 9 million so is cheaper than Yak. Portsmouth are apparantly sniffing around him though but i think if we registered enough interest he would choose us over the bell ringers. I hate that bell
  6. There has been a few rumours goin round that we are in for him but do we really need him? 5 million is the expected price. Although this is a tribal football rumour. Take it how you like http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=52868
  7. maybe he thinks moving to a big club will poison his charitable views. Good on you son i couldnt do the same. Am a greedy bastard.
  8. Hibernian or Hibs if you like. They do have John Collins as manager
  9. fuckin woeful preformance. Arteta poorest game i have ever seen. Mcfadden best player on the pitch and he didnt even start. I am so angry right now.
  10. lol there is too many mikes iam confused. Mike Riley, Mike Halsey, Mike Dean. Why cant we have good old Uriah Rennie
  11. haha, good idea, i certainly wouldnt want any more of Everton's money going to him to pay for the next round in the pub. It really annoys me that a player with his ability just doesnt seem to be intrested in football at the moment at all. Although everyone wants to sell him i think the idea of a loan to some place is a good idea. Send him to Leeds, Dennis wise will make short work of him.
  12. the ref for the tottenham game was Mike Halsey wasnt it? Isnt he the one from the Wirral because there is a ref from there?
  13. Ok i agree now, he should go. Is he an idiot? He has had his last chance to impress us and i really thought he was going to do it. He got himself fit and was ready to be there if needed. He will regret that he never got to stay at a great club such as everton when he is playing for some bottom of the league dutch team. Get rid as soon as possible Moyes, you may be lucky to get 500k for him.
  14. If we are bitter, then Liverpool must be a lemon. I got to about page 10 and couldnt take it any more. The constant moaning, and not being able to accept that we played good. My bet is that most of these fans are not even from Liverpool. I think a real liverpool fan could a would accept a good preformance. The worst part i read was when the yids had obviously started singing "sign on" and they seemed to be happy they were singing it against Everton. Iam telling you now those kopites on that forum were not scousers.
  15. i guess that was like me when i put two manny's in a five man everton midfield.
  16. Iam actually over the moon with this transfer, not only have we signed a player who is very impressive in terms of his skills, but we have nearly all but managed to get him in before the next premiership game. Great work by Moyes, i look forward to seeing Manny back in blue where he belongs.
  17. i hope any man city fans he walked past got a quick glimpse of what could have been theirs.
  18. He can have any number he wants as long as its not taken of course. If we can get him in for the Reading game it will be for a change, a quite efficient transfer process.
  19. i think this kit is very nice and i may even buy it. The colour is intresting and it caught me instantly, plus the blue and white stripes on the shoulders.
  20. This is for the 3rd time, why has this post revived itself? Riquelme will not come here it was a board plan to give us some spirit. The money is being used wisely to buy Fernandes.
  21. I think we definitely have the respect we deserve in this league now, although it depends how high you rate the opinion of a Man U fan. Here is a quote off the bbc's 606 forums. comment by =Snoop= posted Yesterday Oh dear ! Gutless, spineless, devoid of inspiration - Spuds were truly awful. Many players in crucial areas were seen strolling around when their defence was besieged by a ravenous Everton attack that was full of purpose, pace, power and above all hunger. Zakora and Jenas provided nothing of substance. In fact the pair must've worked in conjunction with the London authorities to give Neville, Osman and Co the freedom of town and the entire midfield! The Spuds defence was so stretched that Younes Kaboul decided to retire after 18 mins to consider his options, quite possibly! For me Arteta was the catalyst behind Everton's counter attacking forays spearheaded by the energetic Johnson and young Anichebe. Nevile and Carsley provided steel and Osman the forward thrust from midfield. Defensively Everton were sound, had a few scares here and there but overall contained a very impotent Spuds frontline. Never thought I'd say this but I was impressed and entertained by the display. Everton now set the pace at the summit of the FAPL, early days yet but so far it seems the underdogs are having their say. Underestimate them at your peril!
  22. Manuel 2morro or the day after, Yak at the weekend after the games.
  23. i personally think we will win 2-0 with Anichebe being one and the other will be by either Lescott or Osman. Dont ask me why but i can see another night of frustration for AJ but i think he will assist in Anichebe's goal.
  24. Lol i dont understand why a Liverpool fan would come on here. I wouldnt dream of disturbing the nest of s*its that is a liverpool fan forum. I guess they just want to know what it feels like to be top of the league
