I dont know what everyone is predicitng a walkover for. We are away from home and playing a team who is desperate for points. if we win it will be by a small margin, say 1-0 or 2-1. We may even get beat but i think it will be by a dodgy goal or a silly ref decision.

Aye, i think if we play more like we did v larissa where we had some great spells when we kept the ball on the ground, we can see a different player. Thats the kind of player he is he likes to keep it down and not have to leave the ground for silly headers which i have noticed he aint that good at. Or is that just me?

I have to say that while watching Besiktas v Liverpool i was blown away by the amount of noise and "togetherness" the home fans created. The sky sports commentators could not stop mentioning it. I know a lot of people have bad words about the turks but u have to admit, you would love to play for a side whos fans create that much of an atmosphere.

i watched the game and i have to say that Besiktas are one of the best teams i have seen in terms of using the counter attack. They had many chances when Liverpool had pushed too far up the field and each chance could have easily been a goal with one player missing an absolute sitter. 3-1 should have been the scoreline. -
Channel 5 seem to love Everton at the moment. Maybe its because the Metalist games they shown were both full of drama and great for all fans of football to watch. They know games like these will get them some decent ratings.

depending how others see it, the fault of the 2nd goal may well land at the feet of lescott but it also could be robinson's or campbells fault.

i have watched pienaar from his first game to the boro game and i have to admit he is improving that little bit extra every game. When i first seen him play he was quite weak and lost the ball often. But in the space between then and now hes got a lot better. I know its a bit early to decide but would you consider signing him?

I said this the last time he fucked up but i really think this is it, his last chance. An impressive game tonight for him if he plays will be a start and maybe, just maybe we can start to see more of that Ajax van der meyde who was once thought to be the best winger in the world.

I believe this is a very poor preformance, Neville has had a poor one, Hibbert has had a suprisingly ok one, but apart from that poor game. AJ tried his best but alas Villa are a very tight unit. Lets hope we completely smash Sheff Wed everywhere after this preformance. Lets face it the players and the fans need the confidence back.

its difficult to know what to do with mcfadden. Hes definatly got talent and can change games. But he can do some silly things sometimes, particularly on the wing. So maybe he should get a few chances at cf just to see what happens.

I was infuriated that Lescott didnt even make the bench today. Wes Brown is such a waste of an England spot and he should have easily been placed ahead of him. Agree?

Really pleased for Lescott's call up but to be honest i would much rather see him in blue. But as long as he can stay free of injury he can develop with these extra games into an even better player than he already is.
