    when i heard that there is a possibility of Vaughn being back for the semi final i wondered what the odds would be on Vaughn scoring the winner.

    Zidan is a good player technically and the best i have seen him play is for his national team Egypt. I believe he has a big ego though as one time he had "Zs" cut into his sideburns to symbolise his second name.

    To be honest i dont see what all the fuss about Adam Johnson is. He looks like a ghost and he plays like a ghost too (weak and hardly visable) .

    good analysis carl, i do think he needed some more credit for tonights preformance. He was literally thrown into the lions mouth and came out with a few cuts but nevertheless with his pride intact.

    I would just like to say i thought Anichebe had a very good game against Liverpool. He won a lot of headers, he was a nuisance for defenders and he put in a good shift at right wing (conversion maybe???) . Hope he can build on this as we need some kind of presence up front which we cant deny he has physically. I would not pick a fight with him .

    I may get flamed for this but by the sounds of what he is saying in his comments we have liverpool to thanks for him signing. Him saying he regrets not qualifying for champs league with Liege sorta seems to say he wouldnt have left had they qualified. Dunno what yous guys think?

    Yes this is a difficult draw epsecially the way they bossed Liverpool around for most of the game. All we need is for sumone to sell their soul and we will scrape through with a liverpoolesque last minute goal.

    Something came into my head today. If Spain continue to ignore Arteta for a call up can it be possible that some time in the future he could play for England. Almunia the Arsenal keeper would be able to play soon if England wanted him after aquiring an English passport. Is it a possibility?
