I think if mcfadden goes for a cool 5.5million that money should definalty be going towards a new player. By selling players we are removing some of our cover in certain positions. Arshavin would be a good signing but Arsenal need to be out of the race because i don't think we have much chance of contending for his signature against them. I think if Mcfadden is sold and no one else is bought its a big mistake. We need at least 1 more player!

Hibbert had an excellent game today and was my MOTM. Martin Petrov who is a very good winger could not get past him all game, and if he did Hibbert stop most crosses going into the box. Its nice to see him playing well because somnetimes he doesnt deserve all the criticism he gets.

Lescott was just unlucky playing in a team of idiots Manager to (thank the lord hes gone!)

I cant believe there are people on 606 who are actually saying lescott was poor. He had a fairly decent game and got rid of a few goal scoring chances. Midfield was awful (lampard,gerrard,barry) and it was their fault the defence got so much pressure from a superb Croatia side. Some of these England Fans (mostly cockneys) need to pay more attention to the game instead of blaming the new guys.
