We had a plan, half executed it then shot ourselves in the foot and from then on weren't able to overcome the obstacles thrown up by City and Moss. RM must be furious with the way we surrendered the lead so quickly. Needed more composure going forward after their first, but instead we just kept giving it back to them. A lot of good ideas and effort, but poor touches really cost us.

Missed their first goal when stream went down, but second was just too easy, simply pass along the back line and we were done in. We look decent going forward but way too many loose touches. Against this caliber of opposition we need to do a better job of keeping the ball when we have it.

I'll eat my shorts if Gerry starts away to Man City. We might no longer have DM in charge but we won't but putting a 19 year old winger/striker in to start this match. I've had serious doubts about Osman, but he did reasonably well on the wing, and if Pienaar isn't back I think he'll start there again. Makes us too narrow on that side, but Coleman can provide enough width to keep them honest. I think a fair few on here would just as soon marry Lukaku as sign him, but I'd still have Benteke. More finished product at the moment. Come next year though, or even this summer, might be very close.

West Ham have not looked that bad defensively to me. Don't see us tearing them apart, but would love to be proved wrong. Think it could be quite tight with us enjoying a shed load of possession but struggling to make too much of it. 1-0 or 2-1 for me. Need to play with more pace and occasionally go a bit more direct to unseat them.

Has to be Barkley, we're simply asking too much him and not providing enough support.

Asking a lot of young Ross. It's in to him every time and he's meant to run it forward. Think we might just need to change it up a bit. Osman has to come off, we just don't need him back there for me. Get Gerry on.
