  1. Although as someone posted earlier, Bily had a great 2nd half apparently.
  2. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGH... FFS
  3. Man U being ripped a new arsehole by City!
  4. Gone for Fellaini myself. Generally neat and tidy with the ball. Starting to get a bit frustrated with Coleman as a winger now. Doesn't look like he has a clue when to deliver the ball, and then picks the wrong one too often. As a fullback bombing on past Drenthe or whoever, and with a clear 'get down the line and get it in the box' instruction he could be quality. Velios continues to impress with his cameo appearances. I look forward to seeing him given a go from the start soon.
  5. I think he'd be great with them tbh. Someone the klds would look up to, and who's made the mistakes and got the t-shirt. Thats why I reckon someone like Barton will go on to be a decent manager.
  6. The 4 Hour Body by Tim Ferris. Fascinating lifestyle book. This guy has basically dedicated his own body to ongoing scientific experiments with some really interesting results. I've tried one part of the eating plan in their and dropped nearly 2st in 4 months or so.
  7. I think we're being a little bit harsh here. We played backs to the wall for nearly 70 minutes, and created a fair few attempts at goal. Saha looked lively. Fellaini worked hard in the middle. Cahill was all over the spot (Daglish even said he was best player on the pitch) Distin was good for the majority of the game. Howard... enough said. Drenthe had a decent cameo when he came on.
  8. England are poor at the minute, and I was actually rooting for the Jocks. The way they tried to get at England was exactly what the game needed. Whoever wins in the quarter is going out in the semi for me anyway. Can't see past the Aus, NZ or SA at the minute.
  9. It's nice to see in the article that he still hasn't given up on doing the CL thing with Everton too. Despite it being well out of reach at the moment. Be a difficult one for me, if my lad decided to play for Liverpool or Wigan (If he got the chance in RL). I'd hope he played well, and then got a move to better club. lol
  10. To be honest I've despised the horrible get since the world cup thing against Ghana. It's players like him that make my job even harder. Cheating shite of the highest order!
  11. Distin- a rock for the majority of the game. Rodwell- an extremely disciplined performance from him. The biggest compliment is that once he stopped his man marking job, Silva looked a lot more dangerous. Howard- Made a couple of good stops as standard.
  12. I would say he's probably having a look at alternatives as Mucha isn't going to hang around forever not playing games. If we get an offer of a few million it'll be see ya later me old Mucha.
  13. Been reading a book for a few weeks now, by a guy called Tim Ferriss called 'The 4 Hour body'. Some of the stuff in it is realy fascinating. It's basically a guys record of a number of experiments he conducted on himself over last 20 or so years leading to a series of 'body hacks/shortcuts.'
  14. I fully expect Yak to score double figures for them easily this season. As Matt said, history says he'll come out all guns blazing for a season (or half).
  15. Ha ha. Brilliant. We've got a couple of aussies in the rugby league team I coach, so Aussie bashing is the order of the day!
  16. The fact that they won and can get better is about the only thing they can be happy about to be fair. If the kickers had been form things could've looked a bit different. Enjoyed watching the Wales game and the Japan game. Best ones so far were teams looked like they wanted to have a go at each other, not just play kick tennis for a bit.
  17. Yes Coleman adds directness, but the number of times he ran up his own arse got a little frustrating today. Still wasn't up with the standard of performance we're used to seeing from him... but it was an improvement.
  18. I thought bar the goal Distin looked good and broke up a lot Villa attacks. Baines looked back to his old self. It's probably no conincidence that the transfer window is closed and Jagielka plays better. Cahill led the line well, and the lads who came off the bench all added something. Toss up between Distin, Baines and Felli for me.
  19. Frustrating not to have won, but I think the performance itself was all important. Played well for the most part of the game, but switched off and got done with 2 sucker punches. At least it looks like we might have started playing early doors this year instead of waiting until January.
  20. We've deserved more than a draw from this. Great performance after last weeks shite!
  21. Come on Roy. Let's see what you've got pal.
