Nice one, StevO. On the matter though, I did read in an interview with Moyes that he has had to learn to take a softer approach with some of the players as they tend to need a bit of an arm around their shoulders sort of approach. Seems like Yak is one of these kinds.

Yeees... but surely the point of us buying in players like Fernandes and Pienaar, as well as keeping Ossie, Arteta, Cahill and also having four strikers as we do is so that we can have 6 strong outfield subs. Let's take it hypothetically... First XI for us: Howard Neville Yobo Lescott Baines Arteta Fernandes Ossie Pienaar Aj Yak Then, with this new option, our bench would go from this: Wessels Jagielka Cahill Vaughan Anichebe TO THIS: Wessels Jagielka Hibbert Carsley Cahill Vaughan Anichebe ....so more flexibility. Also, with injuries - and international football - we could then still put in Valente, Gardner, Gosling, Jutkiewicz and the various other youngsters (as in Gos and Lucas) including Rodwell, Irving etc... It doesn't matter what players other teams have, as we have proven under Moyes by beating each of the so-called top four at some point or another.

Well, Baines came through at left mid against... Tottenham was it? Or did he get injured? But, as you already said Licker, Ossie is most definitely not a winger and since he isn't fit and has looked completely fucked - thus, IMO, totally fucking up his best qualities, quick feet, passing, balance - by even an hour it just doesn't make sense to misuse him there. So if Baines is not injured and fit I'd just rather personally him get a run out since he hasn't played as much as Osman and so could do with some match time.... and I can't see another alternative. Also, I'd rather not play Valente if possible and so I'd shove Joley out there and so bring Joey into the middle. However, I see that he is unlikely to start the game so it looks like good ole' Nuno after all <_<
