  1. I agree Carsley does do the unseen and unsung work but of late he hasn't been up to it. Yes I know comparing Manny to Neville is wrong, however DM has played him in a position Manny plays on more than one occasion this season (cover granted). I think you will see better things to come from him in the run in, and hopfully your assessment will be the same as the management at Valencia and we can pick him up for a bit cheaper! On another note he isn't match fit as saturday showed and made a couple of lazy mistakes as he did also against Spurs late on. The jury is still out but I'm in favour and the fact he's on loan means DM doesn't have to make his descision yet.

  2. Thought I'd say hello! I've been a TT viewer all season but only recently became a member. I started following Everton in the mid 80's and I've enjoyed the rollercoaster ride that is being an Evertonian. I live in Milton Keynes and have a 2 year old son whos already saying Everton so I'm looking forward to moulding him into a toffee (for his sins).

  3. Well we got away with that! Jags had a stormer my Motm. His takle in the 86th min saved us 2 points. All in all another poor display but a win is a win, and we have kept that slight gap from l'pool and villa. A win for manure and chelski now will keep it as is.

  4. Great article! One person the board need to keep sweet is moyes. He has been pivitol tpo where Everton are now, and its great to see his ambition which is the same as us fans. Hes hardly wasted any money in his time here (yes there have been the odd exception) but in the same time as Moyes has nearly broke even the rs have spent 100 million! Top 4 side regularly I hope so! It will be tough with the money some of the clubs have below us Man City, Villa, L'pool etc

  5. As all have said we were robbed but in context it shows how far we have come. Also looking at the spurs united game it shows that the 4 points we got against them this season was also good, and that spurs are a better side than their league position.

On another issue watching today I think when we get piennar back I think Manny could take Carsleys job. He's creative, defends well (when fit) and his distribution is much better. Any thoughts?

  6. Samba is a man mountain and he is banned. Ooijer and Zurab will play together for the first time at CH and neither is lightening fast.

I think with this in mind we should cause th[eir defence all sorts of problems, especially if Vaughan is given a start. Pienaar will be a big miss for us again. Still I think we'll win this one. I'm going for 0-2!

  7. Well this is going to be a big ask tonight! I think we will struggle to get anything out of this game, what with spurs last couple of performances. I hope Ossie will be fit because without him, Yakubu, Piennar, Yobo, Cahill, Grav, McFaddon and Hibbert we may be in trouble especially when VDM is being mentioned! Im going to have to go with regret for a spurs win, but I hope I'm proved wrong. With these injuries/suspentions etc I think DM has no option than go 442!

  8. MikeO I admire your optimism! however I think there will be a few more draws than youve predicted. That said we tend to either win or lose at the moment and luckily win more than lose. I hope your right but I think the UEFA cup may prove to cost us a couple more points as the season gets on. I hope Im wrong but I'm not used to being so optomistic with the blues! (let down many times in the past)
