Agreed. Judging by Howards reaction. Still you can't go sticking out an aimless foot with no idea of where your GK is. Plus he's always a bit of a liability. Anyway, getting into it a bit now and lets hope for some Drenthe magic.

This is an absolute shambles! It looks as if none of them have ever played with each other. Heitinga is a liability (as usual) and Neville again looks scared of holding onto the ball for more than 1 second and then every pass is sideways or backwards! Depressing viewing!

Damage one though, and it'll need replacing. Good idea, not sure on the practicality?
With the likes of Anichebe shooting it could prove VERY expensive!

Time of our lives is often on Sky sports and the Everton one is a repeat which does the rounds about once a month. Hope that helps!

Whilst I also think there has been quite an over reaction to the defeat at Blackburn, if we don't beat Wolves though we can kiss goodbye to Europe!
Isn't that a contradiction in terms??? I can't see that second game into the season a loss or a draw would put us out of European contention! (Remember last season). Anyway that said I think we will turn on the style at home and run out comforatble winners.

ITV commentary said Heskey had a great game! I obviously wasn't watching the same game as I thought except for one pass he was awful. He's slow, can't finish, was caught offside nearly everytime it went forward and nearly killed Howard. Couldn't work out why J. Cole wasn't played. On another note, loved the fact Carragher got skinned. I hate the whinger, go back to retirement!

As I said there was one good pass, that was it though. Back on subject I thought Donovan was superb for them he was everywhere and kept Cole quiet all match.

Great first half performance for Donovan, easily their best player. Hope he doesn't play to well this tournament or I feel we may never see him in an Everton again! Also got slightly worried by Heskeys challenge on Tim.

What a terrible game! At least this was the last time I make the journey from Milton Keynes for a little while. Gave it to Hibbo as well for his jinking runs down the right and at least 3 shots I recall. His crossing wasn't great though! Once I voted I couldn't believe Distin hasn't got any votes and Bily is in 2nd! Billys goal was superb but once again he'll only do one good thing in a match. He never takes a player on, passes were all over the place and generally looks scared of the ball. However that said I'm glad he scored as it woke me up, otherwise I may still be there now!

Well with Villa and the RS winning today this question is now irrelevant! (As I don't think the RS will lose both games left)However that said I think it couldf be a blessing in disguise. I'll miss the European nights but won't miss Sunday games and hopefully will mean better performances in the league.

It would have been different if Heitinga didn't get insured as he was breaking up play nicely. I for one didn't mind the substitution of Bily as I thought he had a terrible game and looks devoid of any confidence/commitment (I was at the game and am talking about all of his play, off the ball as well!) I don't like moaning or singling out a player but his touch was poor this game, and didn't offer himself as an option often. Second guessing Moyes I believe Rodwell would have come on for Bily if for the injury to Heitinga and with that substitution I'd have been confident we would have won! Gutted - but at least my car didn't get clamped!
