    Was going to give it to Donovan, but then I changed my mind and gave it to Fellaini. Reason why? He played v.well for the short time he was on. Won everything in the air and looked to pass quickly. Without him we didn't have the same balence. I thought the red card was going to make the game easier but instead it made it harder! Also no one else deserved it.

    I like your optamism. But being a realist (base on recent performances) I'm going for a convincing loss! The last 20 mins against West Ham we hung on and most of our injuries seem to be long term (best players) so I don't think the team will be much different. I hope I'm wrong though!

    None of those players would bring in money for us to "play around with though"

     

    Valente, VDM, Nash and Jacobsen are all out of contract so would not bring any money in, Jo is on loan so has no money involved and Saha would only bring in around 750k.

     

    They might be worth getting shot of but they won't bring money in and we would have to spend alot to make up those numbers.

     

     

    Not paying their wages will give us money to pay new player(s) wages though!

    He was defo a gamble and stop saying he scored important goals. Most players who scored goals this season have been important. I only compared him to gosling as an example of what little contribution he has had. My argument isn't that he has done nothing but that he hasn't done enough. Jo has done more for the team in his short time. I wouldn't keep him next season I would let him go on a free. I bet no prem team in the top 14 would take him.

     

    Without his winner against boro we may have not got to the FA cup final (is that not important???)

     

    My view - If all forwards were fit then he wouldn't be playing, however he's not rubbish remember Brett Angell? there was rubbish! (1 goal in 20). He's passed his best and still not match fit but at the moment he can still do a job for us.

    I think there isn't to much between the three of them. All are great defenders that could get into most teams in the Premiership. In fact apart from right back position we have the strongest defence in the league. Anyway back to the game I think a comfortable 2-0 with saha and felliani scoring.

    you talk about us acting like we had won the game,

     

    the way your supporters ran out of the ground as soon as the goal went in, suggests you had LOST the title.

     

    plus, i dont know how you can suggest winning the title on a performance like that last night, gerrard got you out of jail yet again.

     

    He may have to do it for real soon! :lol:

    Do people pay money to watch you do your job? Do people follow your progress throughout ten months hoping you'll do well, apart from your immediate family?

     

    What a load of rubbish! He has to put our best team out, this isn't the Carling Cup and its against the shite! They should be able to manage. Sheedysrightfoot if we were in the UEFA Cup still would you want us to field our youngsters to rest the likes of Cahill, Osman and Piennar?????
