  1. We were making no profit from it, so have out sourced to experts on a short term deal, we get their expertise and more profit than if we done it by ourselves. They make a profit doing what they're good at. Win-win. At the end of the deal we can carry on doing it ourselves with the knowledges gained from them, or they will offer a better terms. Again step forward for the club, a very sensible bit of business.
  2. You do realise you are moaning about wanting improvement, and then moaning that the club has improved but it's too late. They're getting it right now, give them a chance to see if it carries on.
  3. This man made the biggest difference, we would have had £20 million which would have set us up for a much better decade. European exposure and less debt, could have even had a knock on effect of being able to keep hold of our players and making the champions league every year. The best part it would have been earned rather than given by a sugar daddy. But Fifa dont do dreams they like the 'big' teams with their big stars.
  4. More like "Bily in (midfield behind the striker)!" doesn't quite have the same ring to it though.
  5. Isn't outsourcing it giving it to people who are better than themselves, which is exactly what is being asked for them to do. We dont sell out because the stadium has 8000+ obstructed views, discount them and we sell out every week. The government knocked back the Tesco stadium (absolute joke of a decision during a recession) and we couldnt afford the King dock stadium, European football would have made us a more attractive investment but we got robbed by Fifa with an assist from a baldy cunt.
  6. But are kits are now manufactured by Nike . Joking aside there have been improvements, but we still have a lot to do in building are revenue streams. Short term we need European football to get more exposure and hopefully higher comercial revenue. Long-term we need a new ground with commercial abilities on top of bigger crowds.
  7. But if these people were available wouldnt the club of already hired them? Kenwright runs a very successful business, I'm sure he knows what job roles are needed and has hired what we can afford, even if we could afford someone like Gary Cook (not that I'd want him), the same group of fans would go mental at the club paying millions to a CEO.
  8. And that's the problem, as I've already stated that is not in any way, shape or form, an actual plan. If they walked into a bank with that as a business model, they'd be laughed out. So I don't see why the club is entertaining their dumb asses.
  9. Thought he was on holiday after they finished in Dubai. Just checked and you're right.
  10. Happy with the sum, sad to see the man go nevertheless.
  11. It's ridiculous, isn't it? They all look at Man City and Chelsea and just expect a billionaire to be out there for us. Note to them, if he existed he'd of bought us by now, regardless of Kenwright or who evers on the board. The only way we make a profit is by selling players, cant see why anyone would want a businessman to come in. It would be a fire sale followed by a bunch of cowboys riding away into the sun with the fans left with a skeleton of a club in the Championship.
  12. How many football clubs release all their information or any other business for that matter? Would be like purposely not mucking your losing hand in poker, your rivals gain much more than you will ever do from it.
  13. No, but there plan is to get someone he does. Sad thing is, they dont see how stupid this plan is as they have no way of implementing it.
  14. He's on holiday in Oman at the moment, maybe having a little taster.
  15. Other than pens, I havent noticed him do anything good, just dribbles into nothing, really don't get the hype. Dyer would be my preferred choice, actually all the other Swans midfielders have been more impressive: Allen, Britton, and Sigurdsson.
  16. Olic injured, moves Jela up the pecking order. Klasnic in to replace him.
  17. These lot would sell us to Venky's for a pound if they could. Bunch of numpties.
  18. http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/news/1108461/Cahill-offered-lucrative-Saudi-deal? $4.5 mil a year contract, is roughly what he's on here, but if he only goes for one season I'd assume he'd pay no tax on it, so would double his money.
  19. Reading text books online, takes longer and so much more messing about.
  20. He claimed earlier, on Twitter, that he had been sucker punched in the back of the head, and only had a bit of bruising so weren't gonna waste police time by pressing charges.
  21. http://www.click-manchester.com/sport/manchester-united/1216488-manchester-united-rival-newcastle-united-and-everton-for-crystal-palace-ace-clyne.html? Few clubs mentioned to be interested, nothing really solid though. Found an old thread as well, please merge. http://www.toffeetalk.com/index.php?/topic/22059-nathaniel-clyne/page__hl__clyne
  22. So did Van der Meyde . Just mean the prem league is a lot harder for some of the players from the Spanish league, Dos Santos has managed to play more for Barcelona than Spurs. Is he more in the Silva/Mata bracket?
  23. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1499648032/fat-kid-rules-the-world-0 I've just found one extra thing to add to the list of things to do when I win the Euro millions. Guessing most people know what kick starter is, anyway stumbled across this one that has a quality package for anyone with a spare $10k. You'd get to make your own short movie with the help of some people from Hollywood.
