  1. So Moyes has come in seen we have shite wingers then been scared to ever play with wingers ever again. He's been here 10 years and still hasnt addressed the problem. He had been given money in the past, Yak 11, Johnson 8, Distin 5.5, closest he's done to buying a winger is Bily for 9 who obviously werent a winger, why didnt he use any of this money to sort out the side of midfield?
  2. Got Said mixed up with Idan Tal. Drenthe was never given a full run on the team, Moyes only focused on his mistakes and would haul him off. Under better management Drenthe could have done much more at the club, and was probably the only* positive in the 1st half of the season(compare his 1st half to Pienaar the season before). Younger with a good re-sale value = no brainer, unfortunately he doesnt have one. Surely it must worry you that Moyes is so self-constrained? *Barkley as well, same problem.
  3. 4th official just tweeted that Rafa is in talks. Not happy about that, Moyes record is awful against him. Boring tactics and the man who made the mess in the 1st place so not all bad.
  4. Steve Kean might get the job at this rate
  5. Klopp ruled himself out, staying at Dortmund.
  6. Oh, I'm not having a dig, just had to make sure I hadnt made it up myself.
  7. "I remember Baines having to play left midfield when we were down to our bare bones vs Blackburn on opening day 2 years ago. He had a bit of a stinker in the first half and never got into the game. I seemed to think they switched him around with Valente for the 2nd half, who looked more comfortable further forward." Comment off Toffeeweb. http://www.evertonfc.com/match/report/0809/everton-v-blackburn.html
  8. Parody of the plastics running on the pitch last week, half the city 'fans' probably think the fans run on the pitch after every victory, some genuinely looked like they'd got lost and ended up on the pitch. Nothing worst than forcing a celebration.
  9. Proper wingers would give us more options for formations and style of play other than plan A, then plan B when we're are getting beat to just lump it forward. We never do anything different when it's a stale mate and we need something fresh.
  10. A short stint 2 maybe three games, he was completely nullified there.
  11. Femi tweet: I want to thank Everton for making me the player I am now, sad to be let go but I guess that's wat injuries do. Fans r great too. God bless Hope he does well.
  12. He was Man u reserves manager and has learned from the best.
  13. Described himself as a deep lying striker, main role model was Saha.
  14. Might of said this one before. The 'the' before The Wirral, why isnt it just named Wirral?
  15. Howard hasnt uncuffed him from the showers yet.
  16. Name them all then? Only wingers he's brought in are AVM, Drenthe, Bily?, Kilbane, Said, Rodrigo. Only one that played regularly is Kilbane. He let Blomqvist go and stuck with Pembridge, Alexanderson and showed his first sign of his wings should defend first playing Steve Watson. Other players used: Central mids: Pienaar, Osman, Gosling, Arteta Strikers: Gueye, McFadden, Donovan, Anichebe, Andy Johnson Defenders: Coleman, Baines, Davies. Thanks for the constructive input though, I'm sure you'd fit in on RAWK with lengthy thought out replies like that.
  17. McFadden played a big part in the 4-4 at OT, and to his credit always looked forward when he was given a game. Cahill kept Barkley out the side, feck knows how.
  18. Lee would be a better option than Coleman, but he wouldnt see a minute until Moyes has severely disciplined his game. The likes of Nani/Johnson/Lennon wouldnt get a game for Moyes. Osman and Pienaar are both cm's, last time we had a winger that played regularly was Kilbane which says to me that Moyes really isnt comfortable to play with modern style wingers.
  19. £30 mil he could bring Siguurdsen(£9 mil) and Dyer(6)and Cisse(15), but the Liverpool job comes the the fans imposed constraint of Gerrard. He's holding the club back, and no manager will have the balls/fans backing to leave him out. Theres a lot of dead weight as well (Henderson, Spearing, Adam, Carragher) plus the general cuntishness of the other players Carroll, Suarez, and Gerrard. A manager would have to be mental to take the job.
  20. Seen it, then had a little prayer that Moyes doesn't.
  21. Turned down his pay off, said put it towards transfers.
  22. They don't care about pass and move just results.. against us.
  23. Says Moyes wold of spent better than Dog, I agree. Agree with Rio a head of Terry, but then stopped watching after Gerrard is the right choice for captain. Dont know why everyone is so happy about that, the mans a passenger, spread the ball like Neville and rifles the fans like Tommy Graveson/Alan Stubbs fk.
  24. Rossi had done his leg in, and missed most the season, so they were missing 15-20 goals.
