  1. I didnt put Sam Alladyce forward, in Adz post describing Moyes, and I said we could get Alladyce to do the exact same job of top hald and one dimensional tactics.
  2. Final day was the first game Arsenal had won without Arteta.
  3. I struggle to see how anyone can believe Moyes werent to blame. He thought one nil would be alright to sit back on. Constantly lowering expectation he should be saying he want to win every week. Nothing to do with spending money in Jan, the last 3 seasons we weren't getting results in the 1st half of the season. The reason being Moyes' negativity, once we get safe Moyes flies, he should just trust his players to do it from the start. Even without spending 3 home wins is pathetic, our reserves were good enough to get better results.
  4. Bump this thread. 4/5 4/5 Jela and Pienaar would have got 5's if we had managed a Euro spot 4/5 Chipped in a few goals which may have clinched them the last champleague spot (Chelsea final pending, if not champsleague 3/5)
  5. Reread the thread I'm sure you will find some arguments against. I believe all those managers would have beat Liverpool in the semi-final given our squad. "There is a real magic in enthusiasm. It spells the difference between mediocrity and accomplishment." Every single Evertonian to David Moyes.
  6. Once you accept mediocrity, where do we go from there?
  7. Bilic, Adkins, and Lambert. Big Sam made Bolton a consistent top half team, but he stagnated. Bolton changed it up and were eventually relegated because of it (injuries played a big art as well), but I'd rather take the Bolton approach and risk it than except mediocre. The worst thing is were not mediocre Moyes shackles restrict us to that.
  8. Thought he was a scouser. Defoe is dog awful and Welbeck is a poor mans Sturridge. 3rd choice wont play much so would have to be more of a poacher than the likes of Crouch, would prefer Holt over Crouch. 1 in 2 strike rate at a average champ side is a good return, think he could be a wild card.
  9. In that case we might as well have Sam Alladyce for half the price.
  10. http://uk.eurosport....england-23.html No Jags! Edit: woops I jumped the gun its only a prediction. My preferred Hart Ruddy (any English as they are all on par, and only 2 as Jags is an adequate 3rd choice) RB: Neville Hibbert (Kelly) CB: Cahill Lescott Rio Jags LB: Cole Baines RM: Barton Young (Walcott) DM: Parker Milner (Barry/Carrick) CM: Osman Scholes (Cleverley) AM: Lampard Wilshere (Barkley) LM: Johnson Lennon (Downing) ST: Rooney Sturridge Fletcher (Rodriguez)
  11. PC or Mac, available on steam. Highly recommend if you have a lot of spare time. Best waiting till next season for the new one though or trying a demo for now.
  12. Use Football Manager, more credible
  13. I'd prefer if players were picked on merit, I'm still bitter Watson didnt get more of a chance.
  14. I just don't think Jags deserves it. Whereas Cahill has been great for Chelsea.
  15. Baxter shone two divisions below, so should be good enough for the Championship. He's only just turned 20, in 2 years time he could turn a out a premiership-worthy player.
  16. Agree with the first bit, but Cahill ahead of Jags.
  17. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/7756885/Hazard-confirms-Manchester-move Hazard going to one of the Manchester teams. Not saying which one though, I'd guess City, but United need him more.
  18. There was other games like B'burn at home and QPR away that you can accept. I omitted them as dips in form, or should I have listed every match? Them 3 games were disgraceful and anyone at the club should be ashamed of being involved in them. I gave more reasons over the season, but them 3 games highlighted why we will not win anything or push on in the league with Moyes in charge. Like most I don't want Moyes sacked I want him to go away and learn, then come back once he's grown some balls.
  19. Not enough appearances. United requested for one but was turned down by the FA, think in the end United made one for him.
  20. The derbys and Chelsea away were gutless performances of a man with out any ambition. 3 of the worst performances I've ever seen.
  21. Can't wait to see a £35 mil Franco di Santo upfront for them. He'd probs take McCarthy with him though which would be a big improvement on Henderson.
  22. Never heard of Saint Kitts & Nevis. But now I have an island to put on my bucket list. From wiki 'The country has two main islands, Saint Kitts and Nevis. The highest peak, at 1,156 metres, is Mount Liamuiga. There is also a smaller uninhabited island named Booby Island.'
  23. 7th was a minimum expectation regardless of who's above or below us, finishing above Liverpool means nothing when were below Newcastle. Moyes had a strong finish but he really has to go back and look at the 3 games against Liverpool, Chelsea away, Bolton, Norwich, and Stoke at home. You can allow for dips in form and off days but some of these games were worthy of the sack. He needs a break or a new muse to find some inspiration and start taking some risks.
