  1. It's usually more of a 'dad' type of humour and everyone laughs at his attempts at banter (hate that word).
  2. Wages being the key thing. Think a team like Villa or QPR will be more willing to offer him silly wages. James Fielden: FAO #avfc fans MT @JanAageFjortoft Randy Lerner's private jet is observed in Kristiansund. Kristiansund is Solskjærs hometown.
  3. We were wank till he left last year, what makes you think we wouldnt of done the same this year? Bad example, Heits had the lowest amount of goals conceded, less than 1 per game.
  4. He's performed for half a season and gets all the credit, when we done exactly the same last year once he left. I expect this off Liverpool fans not Evertonian's. The bit they took actually had Osman getting praised and they cut the quote because they need to give Pienaar some god-like persona to make up for his short-comings. If you look at the stats Pienaars are very similar to Drenthes.
  5. Think Neville has been hacked, or he's found his funny bone. captaining my team for the first time next week, as a great captain yourself any advice? Step overs?” Shout and point Going to get the new Home shirt when it comes out, who's name should i get on the back? You cant say you ” Mucha got a hot date tonight, any words of advice captain? #efc” Don't go
  6. He's been a little off this season. The champs league final united lost SAF admitted his biggest regret was leaving him out, always played for the big games other than that. Big yes from me, just hope he plays like last year and this year was a one off stinker. Edit: As Marco said the Asian fan base will give us a boost as well.
  7. If we could get him on the rare pay-as-you-play deals yes.
  8. Think Jelavic being upfront rather than Saha being on the half way line was the main reason. Once again an example of Pienaar getting rimmed when Osman has the better stat 4/8, much better than 3/12. Maybe if we acknowledged him the papers and England would.
  9. Owen and Craig Gordon released today. Striker, and back up keeper have just become in our price range then.
  10. Theres a few on here who probs think Moyes is better. He's miles behind him tactically, I was more leaning towards favouring defensive tactics and overloading players with instructions. Like for like he's probs more similar to Mancini.
  11. I was never a fan, he done better than I expected, Bent mark II done his job and then we made a profit. Win win for us, but never a long term solution.
  12. In that case Anichebe will be second choice. If he falls further down the pecking order he will cry for a move.
  13. Reserve and Academy 2011/2012 Forshaw Hope 2010/2011 Baxter Bidwell 2009/2010 Duffy Davies 2008/2009 Agard McCarten 2007/2008 Irving Rodwell 2006/2007 Irving Densmore
  14. I'd say Fergie has the right balance for most games. Still no ones perfect. Moyes' best season come from selling Rooney, 17th to 4th. He was allowed to strengthen with the money, but selling to stregthen the wages atm, as back then we had half the wage budget of Spurs and Newcastle. He played better football last year after xmas and that was with losing Pienaar and not strengthening as well as more injuries than this season.
  15. fake, but did anyone else read it in Rio's voice?
  16. Origin of Symmetry - Muse. Forgot they used to have some good songs. Every time I think of Muse now all I see in my head is a light show and U2-esque 40 minute riff.
  17. His band is Porcupine Tree. The song MikeO posted he sounds a bit like Thom Yorke for the first few lyrics.
  18. Had me worried for a second then. I'd throw Baxter and Gueye in the possibilities as well. Dempsey would be ideal.
  19. It's not his players that aren't good enough it's his tactics. He tends to go more for the Mourinho approach of strict instructions - opposed to the other end of the spectrum Harry just go out and play Redknapp. For me the Mourinho approach is only good for staying up, unless you have the millions to waste finding players good enough to adapt to your system. Moyes needs to loosen up and find a system that works for the players he has, rather than the square holes he tends to stick to.
  20. Beating the lower teams should be the bread and butter (looking at Moyes!) of the higher teams, and then how the top teams perform against each other making the real difference. I'd rather Chelsea play in the Champs league as they're better equipped against Europe's best.
  21. words don't describe there phenomenal tizer kitted luck when they play us.
  22. You can download an app to keep a check on how many minutes/text you have used.
  23. Maybe you missed this when I edited my post. Top 7 league only, they would be joint bottom with Newcastle. Top 7 excluding Newcastle they would be bottom. They're not good enough to beat the big boys, only high in the league because they pick up points from the poorer sides. It's been his most productive goal and assists wise.
  24. How? They could have played us till sunrise at Goodison and still wouldnt of created a goal.
