  1. Pretty sure Moyes picks the team not Jags, and I think it is common knowledge that Everton turned down a bid of around 15m in the summer for Jags but he has shown nothing to but commitment to the club since then, no media interviews stating he would one day love to play for another club like the defender he 'robs' of a place.

When Heitinga gets dropped for Jags, it doesnt matter who picks the team it's still Jags taking his place. The performances have lacked commitment to the club. Oh wait no sorry I'm wrong, forgot Jags wears an England shirt he's amazing and deserves his place no matter how many cock ups he makes or how well his competition(Heitinga and Duffy) play it would be silly not to give Jags a crutch and an injection to play as he shits rainbows every time he hoofs the ball forward. Nevermind that Distin, Hibbert, and Fellaini have to do an extra job of baby sitting him as well.

If a player gets asked would he go play for a team in the champs league who will double his wages, you'd expect him to say no?

  2. Pete, I'm not going to change my opinion just because others have a differing opinion.

I thought we played well and fully deserved the win.

Fair enough. For me though the 1st hour was really poor.

  3. Why would you hate Jagielka? The guy has been a great player for us and while his form hasn't been great this season he still gives his all in every game he plays.

Because he robs Heitinga of place in the team and has lost us more points than he will ever earn for us. His head has been gone since Lescott left, in his head he's already wearing an Arsenal shirt.

  4. I must be on another planet! Pienaar is our most creative and influencial player full stop. When he is cup tied or not playing the rest of the team just look at each other without a clue. The thing with Pienaar in my opinion is his availability and his ability to find time on the ball like all good players, the reason that Baines hasnt had the best year is purely down to the fact that we havent got players of Nuts quality to fill in when he went. Pienaar carried our team for two seasons when Arteta was wanking about doing fuck all and earning the big bucks. Maybe Peanuts hasnt hit top stride yet but dont forget he has a stop start season due to a few injuries.

I havent forgot, Pienaar has never been spectacular. Baines made him look good.

  5. pienaar has been AWFUL the last couple of games - just dreadful.

God we truely are SHITE, how long are we supposed to put up with this crap, Moyes sort it, or walk it imo.

The words Neville and Cross mean one of two things... a size 5 casey floats aimlessly over it's intended target - or the camera focusses on him whilst he tells a player off for not being one of the 9 men behind the ball

Uhh so sick of the "give it to baines" game plan. It's so boring to watch and its dreadful, no wonder we're averaging under a goal a game. There's never anyone who actually looks like trying to get a head to the ball.

Pienaar hasn't done anything right all game.

What a strike from Gibson! He's better when he's going forward then when he's sitting in front of the defence like he has in the first half.

Romey, not to shit on your parade, but rewatch the first have then re-evaluate, because that last 30 mins masked over the 1st hour were we played like last years Birmingham. Pienaar was shocking in the 1st half and in the second for every good he countered with a bad.

To admit Moyes is spot on for them lower team tactics, would mean for me to drop the standards I believe Everton are at and should play at.

  6. Anybody who truly believes we are unable to win this 6th round replay and the shite at a neutral venue after that should maybe reconsider from what I have ascertained from today.

There is real opportunity I feel in the next few weeks.

The shite have lost 5 of their last 6 and would be bottom 3 if the league was from the start of 2012. Moyes is the only man unable to beat them I wouldn't be so confident until he pulls his finger out and has a go.

  7. well, hands up who was completely wrong..... I think it was all of us. Team selection wasnt inspiring but it did the job. 1st half, rubbish, from both sides really but second we were brilliant at times. Shouldve been 5-6 really. Pienaar had a good second half, think he may get my MOTM.

mejump for joy.gif. Still a poor performance overall, I expect Everton to dominate teams like Swansea from the start not just the last half hour
  8. Thanx MikeO, i got that by reading wink.png I also noticed that it was a bit of a shite game. True?

Up till we scored it was pretty much a boring game with no proper chances. Gibson hit the bar, then Cahill followed up with a bumbled overhead that Jelavic just missed to convert it. Other than that Swansea had the ball for the 1st hour

  9. I make no secret of the fact I genuinely can't stand Liverpool, seems to have manifested somewhat after that game with Milan a few years ago, say what you like but I hope they win nothing every season and struggle in respective fixtures. Yes Wigan have a lead today at half time but you know damn well the shite will bounce back and get a result, you read it here first, you know damn well what will happen dry.png

As for ourselves, I do feel if it stays like this, on paper at least, maybe a no score draw at an awkward venue could represent a fair result, but I feel we really should be getting three points today, Yes it's been poor recently, but I still thought we had the capabilities for a victory today.

Of course there is still time and Moyes needs to introduce Fellaini and Strac' in the second period. Even Anichebe would be worth a gamble in a game like this.

    Equalised now.

Have no fear Jimmy Mc 88th minute winner guns.gif

  10. the arrogance that we know and love. i for one don't hate the shite, i don't want to see them relegated or anything. for me, the best thing would be to see them languishing in the bottom half of the league.FOREVER. 'king' kenny can stay as long as he wants as far as i'm concerned.

swansea are bossing this still. we just can't the ball and have no guts going forwrrd on the odd occasion we do.

They could finish 17th and still hit yer with their catch phrase "we'll win it next year". They are like having simple cousins, actually some kopites are my simple cousins.

  11. Nevilles knee will be fucked after that.

Well done Moyes your game plan of making it a shit football match is working. Must feel like a master mind with his Sam Allahdyce tactics forcing a newly promoted team to get frustrated.

Worries me that we have a manager who's not confident enough to try beat a team by playing football rather than these dogged tactics
