Pete, if you read my previous posts you'll notice I'm not extorting anyone, I'm aware the ticket was expensive but I'm not the one who made money off it. The ticket I've now got I got for a lower price than what it would've been because I'm a friend, the condition was he wanted to make a few quid off my ticket, which is no skin off my teeth. All I'm getting from the 250 it's been sold for is my money back for the cost of the tickets. Not crime of the century and certainly doesnt warrant the abuse I've been subjected to on the so-called 'thinking evertonians' site. It's been as childish as I'd expect the fucking wannabe football factory forum to be.

 

If I was in the unfortunate position that some people are in then I'd be expecting to pay more than the ticket is worth, which i'd do as long as i could affford it....again that's how it is!

Amazing season really for odd results. City have given it their best, and it just fell short at the end. Arsenal defied everybody's early expectations and Everton look like doing their usual... storming finish that would leave most supporters wondering what might have been had they started a bit better!

The amount of times Ossie MOTM but gets completely overlooked in favour of "higher profile" players on MOTD .

There weren't much between them in the game but Ossie has that extra bit of class about him. Arteta outshone him and Moyes playing him out of position hasn't helped, but it's criminal that he doesn't get the plaudits he deserved.

I put a tweet a few weeks ago from either Ramsey or Wilshire saying about how good Osman is, so at least his fellow professionals can see it.

Bale, Modric, Van Der Vaart, Parker, Lennon... name 1 player who would cost say the £5m we may have to pay for pienaar who would get into that midfield?! There's no shame in not dislodging those players!!!

Thats only 5 players, I'd expect to see some minutes instead of Lennon and Bale. Our other midfielders would get a game time Fellaini, Osman, and Cahill. Reckon Redknapp would love to have Drenthe or Barkley to bring on as well.

Pienaar productivity stats have been brought up time and time again (I haven't seen them) but a huge majority of fans, the players, the pundits all say he's top notch and makes EFC a better team... through my eyes he's a fine player who is an essential part of our set-up. Statistically he may not have as many assists/goals as he maybe should but it's been said and I'll say it again he often assists the assist e.g is our main playmaker.

 

Pienaar is a very clever player and speed isn't a huge part of his game so I think he's well worth a 4yr contract.

 

MOTD show Pienaar to be good and it's no lie - I watch him on a weekly basis and he's true class in my opinion (minus the derby!)

They don't show how more often that not he's the one cocking up once we get in the final third. should have been Osman getting the plaudits but he never seems to get them.

They had a goal disallowed today because Gary Caldwell fouled David de Gea. It was strange however as it's been reported that none of the Manchester United players appealed for the decision and the referee (O'Dowd I believe) initially gave the goal.

The Semi would have been the perfect day to come together, why wear the armband the next day when you have the opportunity to do it on the anniversary.

They should schedule a mini derby on it every year and remember them properly. It's Evertonian's families as well, our fans have more of a connection than the Norwegians they have filling their stadium now. Only go about 3 games a season the last few years. Guessing gonna say he does loads of amazing off the ball stuff that you cant see on tele, but I see him lose the ball make the wrong runs and blast it over the bar far too often. Only people who rate him are people who watch MOTD, or people who think running like a headless chicken is the same as playing good football.

TBF he done well in the last game, probs his best game this season, but he still gave the ball away far too much and wasted chances.

Last game of the season to utd always sticks in my head, they were picking the trophy up at Goodison and we were winning 1-0. They got a free kick when Unsworth slides in and puts the ball out for a throw in, no idea how a free kick was given but it was and Beckham scored a beauty, then they got a pen where RVN walks into Stubbs. Just so blatant the FA/referee wanted a utd win.
