Back on last.fm if anyone's still using it:
http://www.last.fm/user/mrnsno
Been listening to the new James Blake album a lot recently, really liking it. Probably prefer his earlier stuff but the new one is definitely growing on me.
New Paramore album is hella hit and miss. Really tried to give it a go (listened to it it through 3-4 times at this point) but too much ska-inspired stuff on it for me. The flirtings with post-rock sounded really good though.
Friend of mine's band have a show in Glasgow coming up supporting Unknown Mortal Orchestra if anyone's up that way. They've got some tracks up online if anyone's a fan of stuff like The xx or other indie/dark/dream-pop stuff. http://fearsofficial.bandcamp.com/

Was feeling a little nostalgic so I made this:
-
Oh, that Heitinga.
-
Wonder which Heitinga will turn up.
-
I love that man.
-
off course not.
You old farts just quack out whatever the football fan community, which you have been molded by all these decennia, finds you should think. You never question it, out of fear that you get the exact reactions that you give to thinkers. I think you should take an example and think yourselves. Start by thinking what to hold against me, and "not always thinking" is not one of them. Think about that.
God you're such an utter pain in the hole.

Being a manager doesn't always make you right - it means the decisions you make are there to be judged. That's why he gets paid over £70k a week. As it stands, the team he manages has an army of fans who will have a vested interest in such decisions.
It wasn't a nothing game, it was a live game where he could have given the likes of vellios, Barkley, and Duffy some 1st team action and valuable cup tie experience. Instead he brought on two players with dodgy knees who aren't going to tell us anything we don't already know. Two players who I don't believe have a future in the club - make that 3 with gueye.
My point is Moyes deals with these lads every day, we don't. We all know that playing time for Barkley is on his mind - he's said it more than enough times. In fact he was talking about it the same day as the game was played. That means he made a conscious decision not to play him/them. That could be for a ton of reasons we are just not privy to nor will we ever be.
At this point he's earned my trust when it comes to the team.

Times reporting Chelsea are planning on triggering a supposed buyout clause in Fellaini's contract.
http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/premierleague/article3650679.ece
They put it at £22m. Other internet sources from reporting during the summer window variously put it at £25m, £30m and £48m (!).

great result for us but Moyes totally astounded me with his subs -
where is his tactical skill and strategic capabillities ?
leaving Neville on the pitch just acting as a midwife the whole time and then bringing on Mr Average Naismith and Mr Ancient Hitzelsberger instead of Velios , Barkly and Duffy needs some serious explanation -
if i was Velios and the other youg players i would be urgently looking for a new employer because my current one does not think i am good enough to play against a 4th league side when we are 4-1 up -
sorry Mr Moyes you have just lost a few further points in my estimation of you as a top notch coach -
we waisted time in the 2nd half playing the long ball and just passing the ball backwards instead of letting our young guns loose on them at full speed - Mr Moyes and our defense better wake up if they want to compete against the best
Have you been watching Everton for the last decade?
I despair at people thinking they know better than Moyes when it comes to nothing substitutions in a nothing game during the transfer window.
-
Moyes has just laughed off reports of this saying "That's not true, I'm not selling anyone", according to Prenno and GO'K
-
Would have to be in the region of 7-8m for us to accept really.
His goals-to-games ratio is great and in the last couple of months he's been working his arse off on the pitch and looking fitter, faster and stronger than he ever has.
-
Ossie, no doubt.
Great performance from Big Vic too though.
-
Hitzlsperger on for Jelavic.
In Moyes we trust I suppose.
-
What happens if the player has a career ending injury, you won't get anything back
Players are already insured for both their own and the club's sake in that regard.

It's on ESPN.
-
Fucking McManaman and Barnes on ESPN.
Like seriously, what is with all borderline retarded ex-Liverpool players in the media?
-
-
Since when did Mirallas turn into a bit of a bellend?
Anyway I gave it to Baines, because he was by far the best man on the pitch. Fellaini was very average and Anichebe did well but didn't play the full game nor was he as good as Leighton.

Don't think they've ever gotten an Everton deal wrong.

Alright, well this somewhat makes sense to me. Still, the idea to me that some kid is going to pop out of Kate Middleton and literally have a life of ridiculous and excessive riches handed to him/her thanks to goverment tax dollars while everyone else is struggling to pay mortgages makes me queasy. And though you make a good case for the ecnomics, I just don't understand the pretentious nature of it. I watched the movie The Queen a few years ago... I'm sure some of it was exaggerated and Tony Blair is a pushover, but the way he was expected to treat her seemed ridiculous to me. And it was a big deal when Michelle Obama PUT HER ARM around the Queen? Why the hell does that matter?
"There is the "no-touch" rule, for example. The queen's visitors have to wait until she extends her hand to take it, and they are not supposed to grip it tightly or pump it, said Rachel Kelly, a public relations executive at VisitBritain, the U.K.'s official tourism office." (from this article)
God forbid someone hold her hand too tight. Or reach out to her first. That just seems absolutely pretentious and ridiculous to me. There are a number of absolutely incredible people from the UK. Richard Dawkins is one that comes to mind. Someone who has worked hard and earned his place in the world and has done so much for the promotion of learning, science and equal rights. He doesn't get a special set of petty rules. But some woman who was literally born into relevance does?
Dawkins probably not the best example seeing as he is very much a white, old man. (http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2011/07/05/richard-dawkins-and-male-privilege/#.UN2gGqX7WTc).
There are plenty of ridiculous and pretentious things about every country - the protocol around the monarch is a bit out-dated, but it'll be liberalised when William takes the throne. The monarchy will probably head down the Scandinavian/Dutch model in the next while.

The fourth and fifth books run concurrently in time and a lot more of the fan favourite characters are in the fifth books, so that's going to be something that's a lot better paced in the series.
