  1. I gave it to Mo, as Bill says it is not a beauty contest so how teta can get a vote is a mystery. I certainly wouldn't have given Saha anything other than a kick up the arse, I thought he was woeful yesterday
  2. There are many strong rumours surrounding are potential signing of Senderos who in my opinion will never set the world alight. If we do sign him it will send a very poor message out to the likes of Shane which I think is wrong move.....give the kids a chance especially when they are as good as this lad
  3. Well in boss, a new second keeper was always a priority.....................at last
  4. Its fine Louis, far better than it was mate :jerry: :speak_cool:
  5. I've watched him a few times on the box, he is another Stewy Barlow...crap
  6. Throws kiss and says goodnight
  7. Me for one, nice to see it back up lads, you've worked hard Louis
  8. Bill, would you mind if I pinch this for another forum mate
  9. It was Tevez that posed the only problem as far as I could see as well Romey. We need some one who can tackle and move like the wind when necessary.................you can all hate for this but Seamus could be the answer, he can tackle and he has the speed we are just not giving him the experience he needs to go with his abilities. Tevez will run rings round Pip and Hibbo (he isn't fit any way)
  10. Its a pity its not the Bobby Collins playing field Louis How long before the locals are up in arms with their Nimbyist attitudes, another enquiry and so on and so on. We should suggest to the council that they apply for the Commonwealth Games in eight years time then we could have a stadium for bugger all al la Citeh
  11. Here in beautiful down towm Merseyside it thawing like mad, should all be gone before the end of the week.........................thank God
  12. That would be my assessment of him as well EW, he is a decent prospect and would no doubt come on under Moyes's guidance
  13. His actual words were 'this club has far more ambition' he mistakes ambition for dosh, if he had said it was exclusively about money then that is fine with me as we are quids in, but no he claimed Citeh had more ambition.................he is a tvvat
  14. Spot on Carl, the 24 year cycle is on for 2011. This side has great strengths, and one ot two weaknesses which every side since creation has had, we are that close and I am hugely optimistic mate. I will die a very happy man if we win the Prem, and yes I did say win the Prem, before the Shite, this side has that potential more so than the 80's team had
  15. Come on Hol what do you expect...............they don't like football
  16. Agree with al of that other than your Cahill comment who, imo, had his best game for quite some time. Saha got to me as well, if he had passed the bloody ball sometimes then we'd have won
  17. Cheers mate and best of luck to the nicest club in the smoke Fulham
  18. Thank God for that, Kris Marshall it is. In the BT advert he plays alongside Esther Hall who appeared in the latest version of Sons nad Lovers, she is very very tasty with her kit off Not bad that it only took nearly eight months but we got there PS (for Mikes attention) there is absolutely no way I could have changed that answer, not that I would anyway I will now have to go and be devisous all over again
  19. As both Moyes and Wenger said on Saturday, the tounement should go ahead, you just cannot give in to terrorists. It got under way this afternoon with the hosts playing Mali. With 16mins to go the home side were romping it 4 - 0, believe it or not it finshed 4 - 4...............possibly the most incredible international finish I have seen
  20. Good article that, pointing the way forward not just for EFC but football in general. It shows how deep a thinker Moyes is
  21. What you say is in part correct, he did me with his 'lacking ambition' crap, totally disrespectful to this club, manager and fans and many will not forgive or forget....................including me. Lescott should have said money which would have been many times more truthful and as Citeh fans have found out he is only average
  22. He may well have left there by then going by Mancini's transfer targets
  23. LIVERPOOL'S owners have been plunged into more chaos after a foul-mouthed email rant by director Tom Hicks Jnr. In an astonishing attack, the son of the club's Texan co-owner told a critical Kop fan: "Blow me, **** face. Go to hell. I'm sick of you." Liverpool supporter Stephen Horner, 29, wrote to the club's owners and their sons to express his concerns for the future of the Merseyside giants. After first being dismissed as an 'idiot', he then received the second obscene response. The email, sent from the address of board member Hicks Jr, was also copied to Liverpool FC commercial and finance directors Ian Ayre and Phillip Nash. Club sources insisted last night Ayre and Nash never received the offending correspondence and they have launched their own investigation into the matter. But the email will cause further embarrassment to the under-fire Americans, who have lurched from one disaster to another since their takeover in 2007. Horner, a London-based Kop fan of 20 years, was stunned by the response to what he believed was a perfectly polite correspondence. He said: "I'm genuinely shaken. I can't believe a member of Liverpool's board would write to a fan in this way. It sums up how the club is being run at the moment. "I simply emailed copies of an article which would make every Liverpool fan worried, suggesting the club's debts will prevent investment in the team. "I was hoping for a reassuring response instead I was insulted. "I don't want an apology, I just want them out of the club." It is not the first time that Hicks Jr has been at the centre of controversy. He was attacked and forced to flee when he ignored threats from fans and visited a pub in Anfield two years ago. And this latest gaffe is sure to increase the pressure on his father and fellow co- owner George Gillett Jr to sell - especially at a time when their lack of investment in the team is under renewed focus. Liverpool FC declined to comment on the matter but Sport of the World understands that Hicks Jnr sent a private apology last night. Hicks jnr may have a point
