Nice to see some objective Blue opinions but you're being a little generous. I'm as worried as anyone about the game. We've really played badly in the last few games and Stoke was a mare. If we can get some good link up play on the wings we'll cause you problems but our attacking duo of Nando and Robbie isn't working well at the moment. :/

Somehow I doubt it. Clutching at straws methinks. It's not like he changed alleigance to a random team but to the Merseyside rivals. It's like becoming enlightened

Spirit Of Shankley
Scottish Red replied to Jimmy the blue's topic in General Football and Sport Discussion
That's a very naiive view Blue 250. The Yanks have plunged us into tons of debt and threatened to replace the manager behind his back. They've refused time and again funds for players and have generally brought utter shame to the name. -
I love this man. I don't doubt for a minute that he was a passionate blue but I also don't doubt that he's a red through and through now. Brilliant. "Where's bigger than Liverpool?" Oh and Rocco, Gerrard was never a blue. There's one photo of him with an Everton top but it's well documented that a certain family member made him wear it. He's always been Liverpool mad.

The Jealous Of Man City Thread
Scottish Red replied to MikeO's topic in General Football and Sport Discussion
I have to disagree there. We have two muppets for owners but they at least have a bit of money. Arsenal need a new buyer and soon. Not to mention Wenger has gone mad and refuses to sign any new players. We may get DIC eventually too...Please, God, please can the Yanks accept DIC! -
Dear Standard Liege

Rubbish. Tyldsley can't get through a game without uttering the words "Manchester United". -
Dear Standard Liege

By the way, who ever said that ITV are biased towards Liverpool are out of their minds. The commentators Peter Drury and Clive Tyldsley both hate us so much it is unreal. I almost wrote a complaint about Tyldsley's commentary of the Reds Arsenal game in the EC last year. Utterly disgusting. -
News Of The World - Groundshare Could Be On
Scottish Red replied to Louis's topic in General Everton Discussion
The majority of Liverpool fans would like to see Everton move out of Liverpool as soon as possible. It's a great reason to brag if I'm honest. There are others that say that the local rivalry would be slightly diminished but because I don't currently live in Liverpool I can't comment. Having said that, I don't trust the NOTW as a source. If you posted this on a Liverpool forum you'd be in for trouble. We just don't allow any assocations of the rag be posted. -
Dear Standard Liege

You sure you're happy with us keeping Rafa? This is a fella that has won every single major honour possible for us except the title (which no Liverpool manager has managed since Dalglish). He's a tactical genious with an eye for talent, unlike Houllier. He has puzzling starting line-ups at times admittedly but every manager has his flaws. -
Alan Hansen was a great player for us but I must admit I completely forgot about him. I suppose I can't allow Manc loving Pundits on...

It was bound to happen wasn't it. To be honest they don't pose a big attacking threat but their two centre halves are solid.

Dear Standard Liege

One of the worst Liverpool performances I've endured, and I've endured plenty! We really need width although if we nip Riera above you Blues it'll be sweet Pfft, stupid comment these pundits make. Even though we're unbeaten they keep going on about how Rafa's job is on the line. The El Zhar move was a masterstroke. He was one of the few good players on the pitch. He should regularly play above Kuyt but it won't happen as long as Kuyt is Rafa's love child. -
I'd be more worried if I were an Evertonian now! Guess who you drew.

Season Predictions
Scottish Red replied to Fozastuta's topic in General Football and Sport Discussion
Pure mistake. I went to Bristol recently so that's why I thought them. Stoke of course. -
As every football team has of course! Even the mighty Reds; although we didn't look so mighty against Liege. *Groans*

I reckon Bristol are still down, Licker. Although perhaps they'll give a better fight than I thought. -
I'm so sorry to hear that Jimmy We're pretty predominantly Reds now over here. The Evertonians are very passionate though and hold their guard well! My family aren't nearly as into football as I am.
-
Why thankyou. You've all been very friendly so far yourselves. I did get one nasty PM but I explained nicely why I'd joined just to reiterate what's been said on here. Hope to continue posting with you guys!

It is not quite as beautiful as Anfield on match day I must say!
-
I've no problem with most Evertonians, half my family are Blues. Of course, I have a problem with the ones who fail to see that we do have a lot of intelligent football supporters. I won't go into the Everton supporters that irritate me because it wouldn't be fair on an Everton forum!

Horse Riding/eventing. It's very, very boring.

RIP Rhys Jones. Blue and Red, Liverpool united when it comes to something like this. Did they find the persons responsible then?

Not quite 99%. I said that there are idiots that support every team. From the Liverpool fans I talk with online and in real life, we generally tend to be optimistic, try to be unbiased and friendly to rival supporters. However there are a minority who shove our history in rival supporters' faces and probably couldn't name a single one of our players from before 1990.
