Do you not think you're being a little hypocritical saying we need to get over the past when all you do is harp on about your glory days . You say we should channel our negative vibes into positive ones towards the team but just being positive doesn't win you trophies , my support for Everton is not in question , i go to the majority of home games ( and a few away games here and there ) and always leave my voice behind . I'am just talking in facts the we could have possibly gone onto better things had we not been banned from Europe and wherever the blame lies us being banned from Europe hurt our club big time and its taken a long time to steady the boat . Alot of people think last seasons 4th place finish was a false one but the table does not lie , since Moyes has took over we've finished 7th , 17th and 4th so the middle one was the blip not the last one . Under Moyes we are progressing and i fully expect us to get over our early season debacle and at least finish in the top half of the table this year .

If you detect a little bitterness then here is why , and my bitterness is not aimed directly at the RS but FIFA's and our very own F.A.'s double standards . But the fact remains that 20 years on we're only just getting over the effects of that terrible tragedy , we have had to endure 20 years of mis-management at the highest level due to things beyond our control . So forgive some of us for being a little pi55ed off that something that was you're problem crept over the Park and across the rest of the land and stopped us from having our time in the sun .

Do you actually read the other posts before you start typing , read it properly and do us a favour and look up the earlier Mark Ward thread from about 7 weeks ago when he went down ( not on big Earl of course ) and see what was said . I hardly think anyone has defended him , he's getting what he deserves .

Firstly , where as the ban from Europe decimated our club you still had the financial backing of the Moores family to keep you afloat . We lost our best players and best ever manager due to the fact we were not in Europe and hence investment in our club stalled , people didn't want to invest in a team going nowhere ( and none of it due to our own faults ) where as you still had massive amounts of money onvested by the Moores family . WHen the ban from Europe was lifted and the premiership kicked in ( and thats when the real money started to flood in to fashionable clubs ) we had already dropped too far behind the rest to compete , we had misssed the '' proverbial '' boat , we had become a struggling club that was always in the red . Now if you know you're business ( i'am sure you do ) you're not an atractive proposition to a potential investor if you're constantly running at a loss and due to the fact that events beyond our control led to this we have theright to feel a bit pi55ed off . Its only now that we're actually in the black 20 years on from our ( disgracful ) ban from Europe and thats not down to the work of the board ( thats for another time , another day ) but down to the fact we unearthed an amazing talent in Rooney and sold him for alot of money ( even though we still got shafted by Manure ) . As for the Derby , because ( for some strange reason ) we get so many RS posters on here then the Derby may be brought up but i hardly recall it being mentioned before you started you're incesant rants . NOw fair play to you that you want to defend you're club ( as i too would in you're position ) but i wouldn't go browsing you're RS pages to do it . I wouldn't dream of going onto RS chat just to cause sh!T and thats all you do . You don't have any major discussion , whenever you get stumped you just spout '' we've won the CL 5 times and you haven't '' and yes that is true but go and talk to your own kind about it and not us on here who are not interested . As for '' denegrating '' the RS as you put it , i rarely mention the RS because i am more concerned with what is going on in Goodison rather than over the park . Living with a family of RS you become somewhat tolerant and if you look at my previous posts you will see that . I defend the RS over Heysal ( to a degree as they were not entirely to blame ) and i will berate anyone who brings up Hillsborough to get one over on you lot as football is just a game and should never result in the death of a person ( or persons ) no matter how bitter a rivalry may be . I'am not bitter and i'am not jealous , i support Everton and until the derby comes around i couldn't give a flying fook what happens over the park . What you fail to realise Kato is that we're actually starting to recover as a club from the sh!ttyness that being banned from Europe caused us but i wont go into that as you didn't respond to my post in the Crouch thread . You ungrateful ba5tards for all the money Moores has thrown at you ( and all he gets is sh!T ) season after season think you have some god given right to trophies every year . The only reason the derby is getting mentioned this early is because you are on this forum spouting the same old same old ........... Look at the match days thread , no RS game mentioned yet , we have alot more important games to get out of the way before you lot come into our crosshairs but the fact that you are here makes people mention the derby . No-one knows the full truth about what happened apart from Michael Shields and the lad back here who has owned up to the crime that Shields is serving life for now . I'am not the type of person to harp on about the Heysal disaster , it was a terrible tragedy and although it was all Italians who died they were not entirly blamless themselves . 2 teams should have been barred from Europe that day , the RS and Juve , but as per always we English clubs were sh!T on by the rest of Europe and our own weak minded F.A. Subsequently the greatest side that we had ever assembled didn't get the chance to play in the greatest club competition there is . The best players we had at the club left for pastures new where they could test their might against the best clubs in Europe . The best manager we have ever had left so he didn't die a death in a League that was going nowhere . Investment in the club was minimal as we became a club that was being stripped of its best assets and left with the all the sh!tty bits . And all because you're lot and the Italians couldn't behave themselves . So do you see why some Evertonians are a bit bitter about how things turned out ? Personally i couldn't give a sh!T what happens over the Park but i do look forward to the Derbies and mostly due to the family rivalry ( the rest of my family being RS ) but other than that i don't give 2 foooks .
