  1. Cracking player sadly I feel he will get better offers now
  2. He can't get the balance right, we are ultra defensive or playing a 433 where Gana is left on his own while the other two press and the front three offer little he needs to change it up fast or I fear he will be sacked too...
  3. Tbf we had two fit midfielders so probably all we could do. Agree I would actually like to see a style of play and attacking patterns though.
  4. Really like the look of him very skillful, drives forward has a finish in him yes
  5. If Lamps really wants to play with two 8s who press. Then Onana sitting flanked by Iwobi and RLC might work.
  6. I like Frank, he gets us is a good communicator and galvanized us last season but there is no doubt he should be doing better but managing Everton isn't easy and sacking seven managers in as many years isn't progressing us. On one hand, he should be getting more out of them and tactically and with his in-game management, I have questions about him at times, but appreciate he is still a young manager learning himself. On the other hand, he's only had ten months, one transfer window, we are trying to rebuild a mess of a squad and I blame the squad more than him. Having to sell Richy and DCL never being available added to inconsistent wingers and Maupay who doesn't fit the way we play makes it difficult to get attacking patterns going. We have stripped away a lot of the creativity from the team in the last few seasons James, Digne, Sig, Richy even Bernard has gone that's most of our assists and goals. We have to credit him for a more solid back line, in general and some good midfield additions, now it's his job to find the balance, a double pivot with Iwobi ahead works best for me. Also, it's an unusual season we are only a third of a way through so it's hard to fully judge. So I think we give him January to get some attacking reinforcements if results and performances are still poor yes, then its time to consider his position because we cannot afford to go down. And if it's a rebuild you need to know what you are building towards a style of play or something, the fact we see no attacking patterns of play after this long doesn't speak well to him or his coaching team. But constantly churning managers is partly why we always end up in this mess, (it lets the wasters in the squad off the hook we need a manager to complete a turnover of the squad). Along with the financial and governance mismanagement from the board and owner.. So if you think sacking him will instantly solve our issues then I have bad news for you. Our issues are deeper than whoever the manager is...
  7. All very odd this story but I still hope it happens with Alli going we need more creativity and drive from deeper.
  8. Watched a video him looks really cool finished. A yes from me
  9. Yes he would be good can also play on the left wing seems Gordon is off so yes. It's whether he chooses us over Newcastle Barcodes though
  10. I think hes a solid player if we got him and another it would be decent.i think people would take his hard work and disruption of a back four to heart, he is also a better finisher than people think. Saying that we may have missed the boat now hes scoring
  11. Like the idea of this lad he's a six with good passing range
  12. We should have moved on weeks ago he will only be loaned out on deadline day and that's five games we will have hamstrung ourselves in!
  13. I think he would leave too big a Gakpo in our budget
  14. I agree and I think he would like to play a 433 high press like we saw in his early days but he changed when we got smashed a few times away especially away at Spurs and Palace. Now we are too defensive maybe be cause h doesn't trust the midfield to shield in a 433. He needs to find a balance I think we need to give him time and backing and remember this team was a mess when he walked in.
  15. It's why we need a Gana to shield the back four. Also I would prefer a 433. Presume he doesn't trust the back four though. It's going to be another big struggle this season and I mainly blame the board.
  16. I hear you mate the club is badly mismanaged the gamble of selling the player who kept us up and not replacing him with any forward is a game, a gamble that a forward will come in and improve us or that we have the funds to do so.i am worried. If we have to sell Gordon to get the forwards we need he has to be sold, but it's on the board and owner that we are in this position. They cannot progress a football club they have proven it over and over, appointing Benitez last season and now not signing anyone to improve that attack is utter negligence after we just stayed up by the skin of our teeth last season!!!
  17. Still no forward this club is run like a circus, hamstringing us going into game after game
  18. Strange one I liked the idea of him but then we seemed to pull out. I would still like him he is very creative
  19. Watched his clips very impressed, rapid and very tricky would be lonely if we could wrap this up and a target man (Guirassy)
  20. Three more signings I reckon two loans and one small purchase. One forward one wide forward and a midfielder.
  21. Yes but the ball was also out. For a corner
  22. It's because of how bad last season is and most other fans and the media are Lamps sceptics. But if we can improve on last season even with some draws we will do better than that. Granted losing Dom in the short term is a blow but the squad looks more solid if we can add some more creativity /fire power I fancy we will be lower midtable
  23. We need to know v soon if he is being loaned out or we have to look elsewhere. Cannot wait around, striker is a must!
