Catania's Japanese striker Takayuki Morimoto is attracting Premiership interest.

 

The 21 year-old centre-forward's form in recent weeks has attracted the attention of Premiership clubs, with Manchester City and Everton posting scouts to watch Morimoto in action.

 

Morimoto is inside the final 18 months of his current Catania deal and his powerful physique and pace is seen as perfectly suited to the rigours of Premiership football.

hm he already has had a serious knee injury according to Wikipedia.. sounds Saha-ish.

on the other hand, would definitely be good for Everton to get a Asian player, would sell a shitload of jerseys over there.. Always something to take into account when considering Asians.

we didn't miss him against Villa, and certainly didn't miss him against Bolton.

which is great, but says more about Villa and Bolton than it does about Fellaini.

Bolton are worthless and Villa couldn't finish their chances.

I know I might be biased so I'm just gonna go by what other people have said about him.. and if Moyes says that Mo has only played maybe 1.5 bad games, and Alan Hansen and Alan Shearer call him a great great signing by Everton (after the Hull City game I think), I don't think we can feel too bad about Mo playing for Everton.

He scores, he wins every header, great composure, ...

his weaknesses are his passing and adapting to the speed of the Premier League, both of which will probably improve over time.

You don't have to like him, but saying he's not useful to the team is pure ignorance.

at the very least, he's been good for the wig vendors around Goodison .

yeah fellaini is not too bright, not convinced he'll speak english before the season is over. i don't think he really cares about learning it.

alltho he does already speak French, which by the way is -also- a universal language in Europe, and Arabic.

the reason we're currently not conceding many goals is the fact that Neville is right there in front of the defense.

on the other hand, if we want to rise up in the standings we have to score and win rather than get draws and your starting 11 are definitely more offensively capable than the teams we've been fielding as of late.

however i think a midfield of Osman - Arteta - Fellaini - Cahill - Pienaar would put too much pressure on the defense

if hibbert and baines can get some good crosses in, i think this starting 11 can really do some damage.

i don't see the problem either ... now with Jo (who can't be less of a threat than Anichebe), victor won't get any playing time at all.
