I noticed something in the paper the other day about Everton signing a deal with an American ticket company that allows season ticket holders to sell their tickets on at an inflated price, the deal was worth 1.7million apparently. I assume thats people with decent seats selling on because there's no shortage of season tickets for the general public anyway right?! seems odd to me, unless anyone can explain this, sorry for the scatty info!

I visited Auschwitz a few years ago, its a pretty harrowing place to go, although Birkenau which is about 2km down the road is where the grimness really hits you. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the players wanted to go there, even though it is a pretty brutal visit I think it's something you should see if you are in the area. I wouldn't say it was "fantastic" though..what a knob.

I'll be teaching English, its a six month contract and then I'm planning on travelling around Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia with the missus ( she's also going to be teaching!). It looks like a pretty amazing place, a little bit intimidating but thats part of the fun, I've been learning Mandarin for a few months and i'm hoping to be pretty good at it when i get back so I can show off down at the local chinese takeaway!

Hey guys, I'm moving over to China on Saturday to teach for 7 months. I'll be starting off in Beijing and then moving somewhere else ( probably the arse end of the arse end of the arse end......of china!). I was just wondering if anyone has been to China, and if so, any tips/advice/faux pas etc ?! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, tis a bit of an unknown quantity China! Tar Matt

I've been in Canada for the past 7-8 months, living in British Columbia. I didn't have a lap top over there so I've been "off the grid" so to speak. Thoroughly enjoyable it was though! I am going to miss most of next season as well as I'm moving to China in the middle of august for 7 months, not that the first half of the season is normally worth shouting about anyway

Unrelated but amusing Hargreaves story - I used to work at the huge Virgin Megastore in the Arndale Centre ( Manc) and Hargreaves used to come in almost every week to buy DVD box sets, i mean ALOT of dvd box sets ( LA Law, 24, Lost etc). I guess he just had a lot of time on his hands! Anyway.. I'd take him on a Saha-esque pay per play deal in a second, anything more commited than that I'd be unsure. Ahh its nice to be back on here.
