  1. We are so bad I feel like launching my iPad out the window.
  2. Summed up by Schniederlin finding space and having no one to pass to in the final third. No movement, no ideas. Ends up back with the defenders.
  3. Jags' 300th PL game today. Probably 50-100 too many for us.
  4. Baines getting himself out of position too much and leaving a lot of space on the right wing for them.
  5. I'm pleased Gylfi is in a no.10 and hopefully with proper wingers he won't be drifting out wide
  6. We signed players whose primary motivation is money. They've got their money, they don't need to work anymore. It's a shambles.
  7. Everton need to build a dossier of similar incidents and submit that as their response, citing disproportionate punishment or something.
  8. Schneiderlin will come good again so don't think we need to get rid there. I would defintely take Felli back though.
  9. I imagine we'll sign someone like Islam Slimani from Leicester on loan, or Rondon from WBA. It'll be a Walsh signing orchestrated before we get a new manager.
  10. He's just confirmed that Moshiri has NOT spoken to him. It's just Sky Sports drumming up bets. Back to the question - I don't want Allardyce anywhere near our club.
  11. It's frustrating as you can tell his brain is still quick, it's his body that lets him down. He gets pissed off with himself when he places a bad pass or had a bad touch, it's as if what used to come so naturally is now not a given. If he looked after himself (likes Giggs) he'd still be absolute class, sadly he looks ten years older than he is!
  12. We could afford to carry Rooneys lack of pace if we had lots more pace elsewhere. Unfortunately we don't - unless we play Lennon/Lookman and DCL, which means dropping Sigurdsson.
  13. I don't see any reason why we can't buy a striker now and get him in on Jan 1st... probably won't happen though!
  14. The whole Moshiri/Usmanov thing stinks and if anyone claims they didn't already know that then they are burying their head in the sand. USM sponsorship? Share Gifts? Moshiri was Usmanovs accountant/financial advisor for years and the two are one in the same. I hate to say it but this was kind of inevitable. EDIT: this is not a dig exclusively at Everton. This is a dig at big business. Shock horror - post-soviet billionaire Russian is corrupt! Post-revolution Iranian billionaire has ulterior motive!
  15. I think we need Pochettino to take the team out for a meal. It worked for Spurs!
  16. What's the fucking of point of working hard for 38 games last year just to get into Europe, only to give it up. Anything other than a win is not enough. Fucks sake, where's the ambition?! this made me laugh by JoeSports:
  17. 3 right-backs?! Oh well at least our 3000 fans will have enjoyed the beautiful sights in Lyon.
  18. We are now one of the richest clubs in the PL, if not Europe, with potentially another big pot of money for player spending in January. We also have a new stadium in the pipeline and a huge number of assets in our squad. Why on earth shouldn't we be able to get a so-called big manager? I have a lot of respect for what Dyche has done at Burnley but I can't help but feel completely underwhelmed by all the names we are linked to.
  19. Feeling positive for the first time in a while. I really want Unsworth to smash it and get the job. If you look at Tuchels history he started as a youth manager before being promoted to first team management at Mainz where he spent a year or two before going onto Dortmund for a year or two. He has had success but there's no reason why we shouldn't believe that Unsworth or similar will make the transition successfully. Tuchel has the reputation because he was given the opportunity to step up from the u-23s team. Let's all get behind Unsworth and stop[ worrying about which 'big-name' manager we hope for!
