  2. doenst top season 4 for me. I was a little annoyed with it to be honest, and Ive actually taken a break from s7 because I wasnt enjoying it. Will go back to it though, heard Yvonne Strahovski comes along
  3. picked up the X Files again, after a break. season 8 finale, here we go!
  4. safe to say ive not heard of a single one of them!
  5. basically, this is a copy of / tribute to Tens thread, but instead of the greats that have been and gone, its an idea to get a pool of the young talent coming through in the world of football. Going to put a cap on 25 yrs of age, as its supposed to be a youth team. Ive not put much thought into the team so far, so wont post mine. But have fun boys....
  6. Like the Spanish? That would drive me nuts. If we're going for whats wanted... I want someone who mixes up his tactics - long ball sometimes, possesion, short n direct - depending on who were up against and how the game is unfolding. Someone who is both proactive and reactive. Trouble is, who fits that bill?
  7. because strikers and attacking midfielders usually have speed! I agree though, its not the most important aspect of a CB.
  8. they werent willing, hence the deal stopped. Plus i read the 1.5m was after the injury was discovered, not sure what it was before tho....
  9. Pay day, because now i have to give 90% away to other people
  10. the original True Grit with big John
  11. I can, but I put it down to having better players rather than Moyes changing his tactics. Why? because we stayed 451, he continued to play people out of position when he didnt need to and his substitutions have been baffling. The one change Ive really noticed is our inability to keep a clean sheet. I'll try to sum this up again... Im very grateful for all he has done, like you say turning us from relegation favourites to being stable. To say he is an excellent manager is nonsense, hes won nothing. Hes a decent manager, a very good man manager/motivator and got an eye for a bargain. He has done wonders to get us where we are. But his inability to perform under pressure is infuriating, his ignorance of the concequences of his actions and refusal to own up to mistakes gets on my nerves. I wont be sad if he stays, but I wont be sad if he goes either. Both he and Everton need a change. Ideal scenario would be that he continues to grow with Everton but I just dont see that happening.
  12. if you get the German channel SWR, you can catch the last 15 mins of this one
  13. went on a booze run yesterday and got some bargains! Talisker for 36chfs (around 25 quid) was the highlight, which is now 2/3rds empty
  14. watching a very snowy game at the moment, its comical!
  15. just use the advanced search mate, the little cog in the top right. You can put the author there
  16. watchin some random German league 2 game (i think) and at halftime they were playing "3 lions on my shirt"!
  17. .......... which proves nothin! we'll see i suppose!
  18. i think he will too, but worried that it will be because he prices himself out of a move. At this moment, and for the most part, I dont doubt his dedication but his inability to change still makes me think we need a change. If its his approach to tactics, perfect. But i doubt that some how...
  19. got a good gut feeling about the lad. just think he wont get a real look in unless someone is injured
