    West Brom (H)

Im nervous about this one.... Still, and again, cant believe im saying this, id have Vic leading the line. ..................T-How.................. ........Pip Jags Distin Baines... .................. Felli ...................... ..... Oviedo Ossie Pienaar ...... ..............Naismith.................... ..........................Vic.................. Id have Pienaar and Oviedo switching wings on a regular basis to throw the full backs a bit, push Naismith in between Ossie and Vic. As for the result? probably 1-1
  2. Not saying who I would prefer and cant say who would be the better deal. But Gourcuff isnt a bad player by all accounts, a player to sit behind the striker and feed it into Jelas feet? Sounds like just the kind of player we need.
  3. err, uncalled for? Hes 26 and from what Ive read quite well regarded. Also, an attaching midfielder would mean Felli playing in his natural position, which makes quite a bit of sense...
  4. I see where youre coming from, but it seems strange that Ossie going further forward (who has looked exhausted the last couple of games) made a difference in the last 10 mins. Like I said, I didnt see the game so cant really comment, I can only repeat myself. Vellios' form isnt comparible because hes not given the chance to play, nor is he in the same league of skill. But, last time I saw him come on, he helped us turn 1-0 into 2-1... I think thats were some people might be coming from.

    Zoo's Quiz.

one of my favourite sites: http://lmgtfy.com/
  6. Not seen it yet, really excited. DiCaprio is one of my favourites, which is ironic considering he made his name being made in The Beach and Titanic. Will Smith is also an actor Ive got a lot of time for.
  7. Breaking Bad, season 4 already.... Addictive.
  8. I know, just winding you up a bit mate, not seen you for a while
  9. indeed, but remember the quote being different
  10. close - was quoting a film, any guesseson the film/quote?
  11. im not a lager fan either Zoo - plastic cups and having only 15 mins to "enjoy" it....
  12. pint i had at Goodison was terrible. Had a bottle at a Thai restaurent which wasnt as bad. Mind you, not a big larger fan!
  13. like has been mentioned mate, its directed at his temporary captain. Fully justified too!
  14. even if he was registered in time, cant see Moyes throwing him in before hes had a training session with the team
  15. id rather see Vic given a go, since weve no other option for the RW
  16. naive to think luck didnt play a part imo. I cant argue further as i didnt see the game and radio coverage was crap, but stick by my thinking none the less. In my world you'd throw another striker on, you dont turn to a CDM to win a game. Moyes was suring up the midfield with a defensive minded player - prio 1; dont concede. The fact that change meant the win too was down to luck, regardless of who it freed up to move further up the pitch after 80 odd mins.
  17. thanks Pete, interesting! I wouldnt say an average age of 27-28 is aging though!
  18. but thats not what you said. Noone is arguing that it shouldnt have been hard to improve on the team he inherited. You pointed out that we had an ageing squad, when clearly thats not correct.
  19. careful, you'll be considered as part of the clique
  20. Felli, Mirrallas, Coleman, Gibson, Oviedo, Duffy, Junior, Fer (supposedly), Velios.... Then theres bringing the likes of Rodwell, Barkley, Duffy, Maggie through. I suppose we could always compare them to the likes of Marcus Bent, Kevin Kilbane, Mark Pembridge.... Oh wait.... And yes, keeping us up in the top half has helped stem the financial mess as well as giving Evertonians hope and higher expectations for the first time in my memory. 1 off event (which was one hell of a feat) does not 'beat' years and years of massive improvement....
